What can be said? It is a merry-go-round. But it is at Disneyland. That makes it just that much more special.

If you like Carrousels, The King Arthur Carrousel in Fantasyland is about as good as it gets. My little kids loved it while my teenagers skipped it for an extra ride on Matterhorn.

This is exactly what you expect from a carousel. It isn’t a thrill ride, but it’s great for some nice photo ops.

This is just like any other carousel at any fair or carnival, except it is in Disney. My 7 year old wanted to ride and the older two siblings griped but got on as they already had their chances to choose rides. Nice place to sit for a few minutes and be out of any sun or rain. Add 2 stars if you have a kid with you that is 5 or younger.

A carrousel is a carrousel! It is fun no matter where it is! But my children thought it would be the end of the world because we had to leave without going on it more than once!

We spent one very long day at Disneyland and tried to cram in as much as we possibly could. Fantasyland was the last area we visited and as we were leaving we saw that the King Arthur Carrousel was loading so we hurried over. Even though a carrousel can be found in many other places this basic ride was a great way to cap off our visit to the happiest place on Earth.

This is how Disneyland came to be. Walt was watching his daughters ride a carrousel. And this one is such a lovely one. How wonderful that it is being cared for so well.

Based on King Arthur and the round table. This carousel has a decent line at the best of times. Seat belts on the horses are not as loose as when we were kids riding, but we still enjoy riding along to the Disney movie music every visit to fantasyland. There are also other animals besides the beautifully decorated steeds. Also, there are benches too to sit on instead if you prefer and want to ride together as a family. Last time was August 2015.

My two year old's loves carousel's so of course, when he saw this one, we had to ride. I like it because it is very well taken care of and there are foot rests for children as well as adults on the horses. Its also nice that you can stand next to your child while the ride is moving.

located in the heart of Fantasyland. Our granddaughter cannot get enough of this attraction. Just be warned that Fantasyland is the mecca for young children and is always very crowded. So, bring your patience with you when you visit. The carrousel features hand carved horses and for those who do not want to ride on a horse there is seating available. The ride is meticulously cared for and looks brand new.
