Little has changed over the decades that we have been going to the Tiki Room... the same song, same silly jokes, same characters.
You can still purchase your pineapple treats in the waiting area although there is now another location nearby where Dole Whip can also be purchased. (The Tropical Hideaway)
After all these years, it is still a very enjoyable show.

Lines were long and I love this ride. I wanted to see how it compared to Walt Disney world. Basically same show, but Walt Disney world has a cooler starter line with the waterfall show. A great way to grab AC and relax.

Can you imagine your time in Adventureland without the Tiki Room? You get your cold Dole-whip, watch the totems sing outside, then enjoy a short performance from arguably the best trained Disneyland performers!! I have always seen infants, toddlers, teens, adults, and elderly alike enjoy this iconic show. Disneyland has a way of balancing out all of the experiences in the park, so take advantage of this cool, calm, and music filled encounter.

If you have read Disney's Biography and enjoy history, you MUST check out the Tiki Room. The attraction opened in 1963 and was the first to feature Audio-Animatronics, a patented Disney technology. All animation was done before mainstream computers, etc. As we know from history, Walt Disney was fascinated with the idea of animated flowers (we see them on the Alice ride too) so the Tiki Room was his imagination unleashed. So fun!!! Also, there is a fabulous new restaurant behind the Tiki Room that sells 3 flavors of Dole Whip and Bao buns so don't forget to stop there afterward!

This is a cute little show with singing birds that is cute to take the kids to in Disneyland. I really recommend getting a dole whip from the stand outside and taking in with you to enjoy during the show, this is what we did and we enjoyed the chance to sit and relax and have a snack while the animation birds out on a show for us.

There is something special about seeing an attraction that is a Walt Disney original. The Enchanted Tiki Room has it's own special charm. All the entertainers are great.

I truly enjoyed the music and the songs sung by the mechanical birds in the Enchanted Tiki Room. I always try to see this show when I visit Disneyland. Enjoyable music for all ages.

This is a must try at Disneyland! It is a cool treat on a hot day. For us, it was delicious end of day desert! They will help you with to go containers also, we had sick adult kids back at the hotel that didn’t want to miss this pineapple treat!

I have been to Disneyland maybe 15/20 times and I had never been in the Enchanted Tiki Room. What a treat, especially to sit in a chair in an air conditioned room for a few minutes. This is an animatronic tropical delight. Birds, flowers and tiki gods all sing and dance while the fountain in the center makes the water dance as well. While waiting for the show to start I googled the attraction, and was very surprised to find it was the first full use animatronic show ever and it was also the first fully air conditioned building in Disneyland.

Alright, so we can all acknowledge that this attraction is getting so run down that it's teetering on the edge of "scary." But it's a classic, you get to sit down for ten minutes without feeling like you're wasting your time in the park, and the line for the Dole Whip inside the Tiki Room queue is typically a fraction of the wait time for the line just outside. Grab some cold pineapple Disney magic and put up your feet while you wonder why Disney hasn't renovated the tiki room yet.... :)
