Didn't really want to do this ride, this time around, but the 3 year convinced me (you could call it that) that he wanted to do it.. The queue was a good 30 minutes and not much to see along the way. The ride is very "jerky" throwing you from side to side. I had to keep my arm across my 3 year old to keep him from being thrown around.
He still enjoyed it, though I didn't particularly enjoy it. After the ride that was it..
If you enjoy going around in circles and being thrown about then this ride is for you.. Otherwise give it a miss..

This was a fun ride even for the adults. We’re Cars fans. We waited about 30 minutes, but probably wouldn’t have wanted to wait any longer. The Luigi ride is the same premise, so we opted not to ride that ride.

In our day at California Adventure, we rode this one a total of FOUR times. It hit the sweet spot for my 4-year old, who (1) is sometimes scared at the "dark" (indoor) rides, and prefers the horizontal, swerving rides to the vertical rides. A decent ride, but pushed over the top by watching my little girl's thrilled and happy face throughout.

I know it seems obvious, but this ride is not that great for toddlers. We took my (almost) 3 year old on this ride because there wasn't a whole lot of other rides at Disney California Adventure Park for her to ride, and she really wanted to ride something. She is pretty fearless and will do anything. But we didn't think it through how much it whips you around. My husband rode with her and the very first turn, it flew her to one side of the car, and he came crashing into her. So, of course, the rest of the ride was her crying. But I rode with my 5 year old and he LOVED it. So, I guess if you are expecting to move around a lot, just brace yourself and hold your child because it is pretty fun for what it is!

Super fun ride! It looks like an innocent, easy, kids ride but it is actually really fun and surprisingly fast. Highly recommend it.

I have been on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree a few times when visiting Disneyland from out of town. The theming is amazing as it is throughout Carsland. This ride does not look like much and comes off as just another kiddie ride until you ride it! It hits me in the giggle spot every time. I laugh so hard like a kid on this ride. It is so much fun. I suppose it could cause minor motion issues for people but I'm good on this ride while other rides do make me motion sick. Don't pass this by. It is a blast!

An unassuming ride from the outside as you approach it but on riding you will be hooked. You sit in a minature version of a rusted towmater , which then proceeds to swing round wildly as you hang on listening to music normally heard at barn dances!
Great ride for all the family

This ride is similar to a Scrambler ride, but the design makes you appear to be dancing as you do-si-do round and round while gravity pulls you to the edge of the tractor which by the end, you end up in a different place from where you started. The height requirements are 32" which makes it great for most of the family members. The lines can be really long during the day because it is in Cars Land. However, in the morning and evening most of the people are at Radiator Spring Racers so, it is a nicer time.

This ride really whips you around. It doesn't appear so, but it does. It is fun but be ready. Kids may like it more than adults.

This is a cute little ride which is suitable for the whole family. The cars do a sort of figure eight which resembles a square dance in a fun and whimsical manner. Worth checking out.

I posted a review of this ride 10/2015. For some reason the review is showing 1 star and it should show 5. I don't know how to update the rating.
