We’ve used the ART shuttles to Disneyland many times in the past, and have never had a problem with them before. This past trip was different.

We stayed at the Anaheim Marriott which is right by the convention center, and across the street from the Hilton Anaheim. Oddly enough, both these hotels have their own shuttle stops even though they are literally steps away from each other and on the same route. We got down to the stop early and lined up at the Hilton since we knew it picked up there first. A large line formed behind us, along with a long line at the Marriott stop. The driver jammed in as many people as he could at the Hilton stop then stopped the line, he then drove over to the Marriott and told them that they’d have to wait for him to come back, but then he drove to 3 other stops and packed in some more people.

On the way back from the park, we noticed the long line at the stop and opted to just take an Uber back (the price ranges from $7-$9 one way, so really not that more expensive).

On our day off from the parks, we walked to Downtown Disney (about a 20 min walk) and took the free Toy Story shuttle back (a five minute walk from our hotel).

We also chatted with another family at our hotel who said that they waited an hour and a half to come back from the parks one day… the driver was taking a break and with the staffing shortage they didn’t send another driver.

On top of all that, they haven’t updated their website. Their website says that you can still buy printed tickets at the Hilton, Convention Center, and a bunch of other places… but it’s all actually electronically done on our phones now.

The bus service was overall pretty good. We did have a major issue on one of our trips back to our hotel from Disneyland. We scheduled our pickup and the bus arrived 10 minutes early. The driver called our name and we loaded the bus. There were people who did not schedule and were boarded as well. We ordered food to be delivered shortly after we should have arrived at our hotel. What should have taken 20 minutes at most to drop us off (there were only 3 drop offs) took close to 50 minutes. The driver dropped off the other riders and instead of taking us to our hotel she started picking others up. We asked several times about getting dropped off and were told we got on early and had to wait. Even though she called us onto the bus and dropped people off who had no reservation. After several comments about dropping us off she started slamming the brakes every time we had to stop. We finally made it back long after food was delivered. Most of the drivers were friendly and prompt. One bad apple ruined it for us though.

Leave your car in the hotel parking (cheaper), walk to the parking lot and grab their shuttle which is constantly running. I counted no less than 10 buses waiting to take people to the front entrance. I had to return to the hotel mid-day and was the only person to get on. They left within minutes. They run from 6am to 12 midnight. Toy Story parking was the closest to many of the non-Disney resort hotels along Harbor Blvd.

Currently in line for a bus at Toy Story Parking Lot before Merriest Nites. We’ve been waiting for an hour because apparently all of the ART drivers needed to take their breaks with no backups during the busiest time of the evening. All of the buses are sitting in the parking lot while hundreds of us are waiting. This is ridiculous.

Stop lying and be real with customers. People want to hear the truth not 2 mins, 6 mins, lunchbreak during peak arrival times, etc. Especially if it takes more than 50 mins and every other pickup/drop-off at disneyland had come by twice but ours. They didn't come and brought someone from Toy story line until after we called, after waiting 50+ mins.

This used to be such a great service when going to Disneyland, but with the new app that has to be used to ride and reservation system it has made it a pain to use and unreliable. We had one issue after another with the app and the bus arriving when we were expecting it. The wait times were long and inconvenient. The drivers were all great and helpful, but it was a stress for us and I can tell for them as well. I would recommend getting a hotel close to the parks if you dont have own vehicle and dont want to use uber.

Awful for Disneyland experience. They let the kids on first every time. Let me explain. My wife and I were waiting almost an hour to be picked up at the Delta location (bus 3.) These 5 or 6 families show up a couple minutes before the bus arrived and they got on and we didn't. So we had to wait for a "back up bus." Just awful.

Completely unreliable. They run when they feel like it. Services will stop for the night early but app/station still show bus arrivals leaving riders/families waiting out in the cold night for nothing. Drivers tell you last bus 12:30AM but services can/will stop at anytime without warning. For two nights there were no returning buses from Disneyland (second night at 8:30PM).

Google the bus schedule first before proceed to the Disneyland Resort Bus Terminal. Somebus schedule are rare especially to Orange Outlet one one schedule per hour. USD4 per trip. Get a one day pass from hotel at USD6.

The bus drivers were very friendly. The bus stop was right in front of my hotel. unfortunately the busses arent always on scheadule. I think its more a function of the traffic in the area.
Went for NAMM convention and could get bus going to the show but impossible after the show so had to walk back to hotel as no rideshare either

We're sorry to hear about your less than stellar experience. Unfortunately, the resort is impacted by extreme traffic around conventions which caused delays on some routes this week. We do our best to communicate this to our guests via service alerts. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you suffered and hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Anaheim.
