This experience was the highlight of our recent Disney trip. To witness the joy on our two grand daughters faces as they were pampered, by the most amazing staff, was worth every penny. We travelled from Australia, so it was a lot of pennies :) I would not hesitate to recommend.

This was my first experience with the Bobbbidi Bobbbidi Boutique, and I was not disappointed! I booked makeovers for my son (6), and daughter (4). My son was a little skeptical about the whole thing, until we checked in and were led to the changing room where his knight shirt, sword, and shield were waiting. My son was first to get his knight makeover($20 makeover plus $35 knight shirt). He didn’t want anything really done to his hair; no glitter or confetti, but after he took his knight oath and was introduced in the magic mirror, he at least wanted some gel in his naturally curly hair, which the fairy godmother was happy to do for him. He was so in awe of his experience, while my daughter was busy getting her makeover, my son was slaying the invisible dragon next to me. He absolutely loved it and would not hesitate to do it again.
My daughter had the crown package ($65), and because of the hair style she chose, included hair style, tiara, Mickey rhinestone clip, makeup, nail polish, face gem, cinch bag, and sash. She was sent home with the entire bottle of nail polish, makeup set, brush, and extra face gems, along with special shampoo. We brought our own dress (Ariel’s “Kiss the Girl” dress), which came with a giant bow that my daughter insisted on wearing. The fairy godmother in training was great. She incorporated the bow in my daughter’s hairstyle without having to be asked. And I loved that they allowed my daughter to change into her princess dress in the royal changing room, which made it just as special as if we’d bought the dress there. There are benches for each makeover station, which allows parents an area to watch and record video or take pictures up close. As you exit the boutique, you go through another boutique store, allowing you to grab any last minute items you want to add. In our case, my son wanted to make sure his napping two year old brother wasn’t left out, so he picked up an extra sword and shield for him. Both of my boys had a blast sword fighting throughout the park, and my daughter loved wearing her sash and bag the rest of the day.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique made the experience magical and special for my kids. As a parent, I really appreciate that they offer a very affordable option without paying hundreds of dollars for my little ones to have such a magical encounter, otherwise, this would probably be a one time thing for us. Now, I will be making reservations for the boutique on our Disney cruise next year, not to mention, we will definitely be back at BBB the next time we are in Disneyland!

So when I first heard about this I thought it was a waste of money and was pretty sure if my husband booked it for my 3 year old daughter I would be annoyed that we would be sitting in a stupid salon wasting time and money instead of riding on fun rides. He finally talked me into doing the Crown Package – the most basic package for about $60 – I booked the package and thought ok it sounds kind of fun. She will probably like it but won’t really get it. She only 3 after all. Boy was I wrong. This place is freaking magical. It was worth every.single.cent. If you have a little girl – do it! Your fairy godmother in training greets you and takes you to your chair – there is a spot for families to watch and snap a million pictures – and then they turn your little girl into a princess. Every detail is thought of. Everything they put on the girls is tied to a princess. At the end our daughter was sure she was a princess. She even said that that Disney castle was her castle! Haha! Our little girl didn’t want to take out her hair or take off her make up at bedtime. I attempted to redo her hair in our hotel the next day – it was rough but thank goodness she’s only 3 and thought it still looked good! We bumped into our Fairy Godmother in training the next day and she remembered our daughter and hugged her and told her she was beautiful. It’s a great experience and I highly recommend it.

When we went the boutique three years ago we got great and non rushed service to turn my daughter into a princess. This time when I returned with how both my daughters is felt less magical but still with the huge price tag. The dress reveal in the dressing room was less than spectacular and once we got to the hair and makeup, it was clear they didn’t know how to different textures of hair. My girls makeup was a mess too and we won’t be returning again.

This was our 2nd visit here and I will never bring my daughters here again. We purchased the castle package for both girls and I could not be more dissatiafied. Their fairy godmothers were unfriendly and rushed through the whole process. I feel like it was a waste of our money. Our first visit (3 years ago) was magical and my daughter felt like the princess she was transformed into. This time the godmothers barely spoke to my girls and we sat around and waited longer than the transformation took. I'm not sure what changed but the godmothers need some additional training because to charge so much for barely mediocre service is ridiculous.

I am heading to Disneyland next week and heard this experience would be amazing so I have tried to call the non toll free number for weeks from Canada several times waiting too long ...I finally waited 40mins paying long distance I may add and finally get a robot personality "taking my order" and then when I kindly give her my postal code she hangs up on me ...
I'm out ! I thought it would be a nice added experience for my 7yr old but I'll find something else for her to enjoy for $200 Canadian dollars thanks ;)

Since we had an appointment I visited the boutique the day before to get details for our visit the next day. The attendant was a young man that told us it was okay if we were late since our appointment was at 8:50. Attendant wasn’t friendly at all but we brushed it off. The next day we arrived to check in and the same attendant was there, since we were early he told us to come back later. Attendant had an attitude and wasn’t friendly at all again, then I told him that he had given us other information the day before. I asked why was it okay to check in late but not early at 8:35. Then out of nowhere he tell us, ‘fine, I will check you in! Can you believe this! The process from there was smoothly and pleasant and our fairy god mother in training aka hairstylist was so friendly and sweet! The problem came towards the end. The hairstylist was done and she was about to do the reveal when another hairstylist came to bump me out the seat and was telling us to move! Can you believe this?! In the middle of the last part! The hairstylist wasn’t even done! I was told to move and my daughter was rushed towards the last most precious part of the whole experience. My daughter was witnessing this and I have it on video. Definitely not the experience that Disney promises and obviously some hairstylist are asked to rush thru so they can make more money. That was a horrible experience towards the end and completely ruined the whole thing, how greedy can you be. I personally we will never do this again and now I say it’s not worth the money and I hope you don’t have the same bad experience.

Today cast member Deborah must have lost her slipper on the way to the Ghetto Ball she was extremely rude when trying to schedule an appointment and even hung up on me when I politely asked if I may speak to a different cast member due to her so call professional customer service. Well not today honey you messed with the wrong queen I called back and happed to get the same Deborah and when she herd me say Deborah get me your supervisor you can hear her tiara hit the ground . So sad for employees working for such a great company has such bad attitudes. Did I mention this was the same Rude Deborah that I spoke with on Saturday about availability and today is Wednesday. #evilqueen

We were deabting on doing this experience and I'm so glad we did. Our two girl's are 7 and 8 and it was amazing. We went with the $199 (American dollers) included a gown and photoshoot. Also VIP experience princess greeting. It totally worth it at the end. They truly felt like a princess all day. They were treated like royalty all day by the cast members and even got a free dessert at one of the restaurants we ate at for dinner.

I booked this for my daughter who was 10 at the time. She describes it as the highlight of her Disney vacation.
The fairy godmother in training who did her makeover was awesome.
She had her hair and nails and make up done. She had a small tiara put in by her high bun. Sparkle hairspray. A kit to take home with shampoo, conditioner, nail polish, make up, princess sash, care guide etc.
We brought our own dress from home and she wore it to the park that day and kept it on all day.

Do they have photopass photographers here like they do at the ones in Walt Disney World?
Written March 4, 2020
Hi just after some advice on booking from Australia. We will be there for 8 days in September are you able to book when there or is it better to book before arriving? Only need to book for one child thanks

We are considering doing this for our 2 children however my youngest daughter will be just shy of three when we go.. can she still particapate?
Written February 11, 2019
Yes! My youngest was barely 3 when we went. She loved it!! She looked like a little princess getting her hair done. The fairy godmothers who are doing their hair, are very professional and fun and never once did my little girl get bored.
Very glad I had her participate!

What is the smallest dress size available? I’m hoping to splurge and do the full castle experience and want to make sure my daughter (size 2T) will have options that fit her.
Written January 11, 2019
I’m not sure- our daughter was a size 5 but they weren’t in stock so purchased a 6 and then ladies made it fit

We have booked the castle package for January. I am just wondering how the photos work and how we collect them
Written December 19, 2018
They take the photos after your child has been made up.
You then wait outside while they bring the photos to you
They will then escort you to see the princesses.
That was our experience in Nov 18

How much does the knight tshirt cost to add on?
Written October 22, 2018
Everything varies. It would be best to contact them to be certain for sure. (714) 781-7895

Do all children attending the BBB get escorted to meet the princesses afterwards? Or is it just for the most expensive package? It i s not listed as a perk of attending BBB, so I was wondering if it was guaranteed or not. Thanks

With the Crown Package, we did not get to see them.

What was the t-shirt and tutu like? I'm wondering if it's worth it over the basic package.
Written May 23, 2018
We went with the tshirt and tutu. Daughter wore her Cinderella costume that day, but she wears the tshirt now regularly. It's soft.

Do they cross check children for park tickets? I'm being told there's a minimum age of 3... my daughter will be turning 3 two days later, so I'm being told she can't book. I'm considering telling them she's three (but then don't want being stuck buying her a park ticket before it's required). She does well getting her hair cut, and her language skills are strong... developmentally, she'll be fine leaving me for an hour to get all dressed up.
Written April 1, 2018
They didn't ask for our park ticket. I think you should be fine. The very worst that would happen is they would tell you no and give you your money back. But our daughter was 3 and her language skills aren't great and they didn't question us.

We booked the castle package for our 3 and 4 year old daughters in April. I heard the fantasy faire is no longer offered. Is this true or do I just need to ask? My girls would love to meet a princess or 2 after getting their makeover
