- StevenBerlinChino Hills, California716 contributionsVery cool indoor location for restaurantsThis has been a converted packing plant place into a mega restaurant establishment covering two floors. They have bars, eateries, and restaurants that you can go to. Some of the highlights were Georgia's, Nagal, Mini Monster, the Hammer Bar, Black Sheep, and Zero Zero pizza. We really enjoyed our stay and place is very compact so easy to walk around and check out everything. You can park for free just outside. Cool place to check out in Orange CountyVisited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 12, 2023
- MarthaFromAlabamaMontgomery, Alabama630 contributionsSo Many Choices!Tonight was my first time there and I was impressed with the number and variety of restaurants to choose from. We entitled on a Mediterranean restaurant, but easily could have had Asian, Cajun, Pizza, American, etc! Lots of seating and we found street parking within a block.Visited February 2024Traveled on businessWritten February 7, 2024
- Justin CAlberta, Canada276 contributionsFantastic food hall in a historic setting!Spring break trip to Disneyland with our near twelve year old! We arrived on a noon flight, and upon arriving to our hotel, looked for somewhere to grab a bite. The Packing District was an easy ten minute Uber ride from the Disneyland area. The array of restaurants was fantastic, and hard to choose from. My daughter had California rolls from Zabon, my wife had a lamb dish from Adya, and I had a gourmet grilled cheese (melt!) from Black Sheep GCB. All of the dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. It'll be a no-brainer to come back and try out some of the other vendors!Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 4, 2024
- Jane BLincoln, Nebraska11 contributionsVery funFun place to visit that offers food choice for every palate. You can sit in a swing or have a drink in a boxcar. I very much enjoyed the Cajun shrimp. I would have like to go into the speakeasy, but you had to make reservations 2 weeks in advance!Visited May 2024Traveled with friendsWritten May 27, 2024
- Joshua CHenderson, Nevada6 contributionsPacked with Great Food, Drinks and Electric AtmosphereThis place made me want to spend more time in Anaheim! There were so many unique small restaurants and bars in here... I started with a beer, then a sushi roll, then another spot for a cocktail, then Georgia's for a proper dinner: tri-tip and collard greens. It was soul food that literally made my soul feel full! Wish I had room for dessert, because there were plenty of interesting and different sweets and ice-cream shops, too. I cannot recommend this place enough for families, co-workers, and it's a great spot to take a date or meet some friends. The decor and atmosphere was nothing short of buzzing. The only challenge was parking, so if you can take an Uber, that would be best. But there's also plenty of street parking around, if you don't mind a short walk.Visited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 20, 2024
- NumunRemuera, New Zealand29 contributionsGreat options in an interesting spaceLots of great food options in an interesting space. We found good food hard to find in Anaheim, so this was a pleasant find. Parking is tough, but they offer $8 valet Would be better if the plates and utensils weren’t all disposable, although this seems to be an American thing?Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 17, 2024

Something for everyone. It got bars, nooks to quietly sit, tables for groups. Great vibes. Great atmosphere. We found parking and walked a few steps to live music and a place filled with many delectable options. Each of us tried different types of food from Indian, Japanese to Indonesian. It was delicious! We hope to visit again.Visited September 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 3, 2024

I took the family to the Anaheim Packing District for lunch. There are many different food offerings at the Packing District located on two floors. From tasty ramen, to French pastries and ice cream, to good BBQ and Indian Food, the Packing District has something for everyone.
The set up is similar to a food court where there are separate food vendors with varying food offerings. All situated within the historic Packing House in Anaheim where citrus products were sorted, crated, and shipped around the country via rail service. Seating is quite limited and the lunch and dinner crowds get very busy. Parking can also be an issue also, however, they do offer Valet Parking at $6.00/vehicle. Since this is a food court type space, not all food vendors are open every day. Each vendor is a separate business, so they set their own hours of operation. Overall, the food and atmosphere was enjoyable.

Walked from Anaheim Accom and was well worth the exertion. This is a cool place with a wide variety of eating options in a relaxed, cool setting. Something for everyone including the 2 Vegans we had with us.

I have been to several food halls around the world and this was average at best. While there are options here, there just weren't that many. This, IMO, is not a great place to take kids as the food and drink options are more adult taste oriented. It is kind of a hangout or friend meet up location though we did find stuff for the grandkids to eat. The prices at most of the walk-ups were OK and it looked like the food was cooked to order since you were given buzzers at many locations to notify you of a completed order. There were a few non-food stores but nothing of note. Just by looking and observing this has to be a locals mostly location and we were out-of-towners on a visit to DL. Good concept (as with most food halls) but not the best execution.

This is a great spot to have a good meal, maybe a drink or two. This is the former citrus packing plant in Anaheim and it still has some of the unique features from the "packing days".
There are multiple eateries to choose from on 2 levels. If you wish to sit and have a drink there are also a few select places to choose from. AND there is even a tiny theater inside to watch the reel of the day, which can be found on level 2 at the end of the building.
My favorite eatery is Chippy Fish & Grill, they make awesome fish and chips! And if it's a nice day, you can sit outside in one of the open "cattle" cars.
If you are in the mood for something unique, stop in at the Mini Monster Cafe and order one of their boba drinks with cotton candy topping. Sweet and refreshing at the same time!
Come to see the giant roosters that greet you when you enter, or the hanging baskets, or all the air ferns, some of the little shops, have lunch or dinner and maybe a drink. This is a fun location!
Parking is a little tough, but otherwise, this is a good place to come and enjoy the day.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere unique to eat lunch and Anaheim Packing District was the perfect choice. There is a small parking lot adjacent to the building and street parking in the surrounding area. Inside is a food court type building with many different options as well as some small shops. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the various options. We each tried different places to maximize our options. We really enjoyed visiting here and would return if in the area again.

I have visited the Anaheim Packing District twice in the last year - once with business associates and once with my family - and both times were a great experience. There are many food choices and great restaurants here (we really enjoyed Georgia's southern cooking on our last trip) along with a few shops and nice spots to sit down to enjoy your treat. The restoration of his beautiful, historic space was very well done. Your group or family can come here, divide to pick up each person's food wishes, and then reconvene for a nice outdoor meal under the California sun (or stars).

This was our second time going to the Anaheim Packing District while in California. This visit was just as good as the last. I tried White Elephant this visit and the Panang Curry was very tasty. There are so many options here that it's great for a group who have different tastes.

Interesting place! Love the wide selection of foods, snacks, appetizers and drinks - really something for everyone. I’d say come hungry as portions (and prices!) are big - parking is an issue, although there is a parking garage a few minutes down. Definitely walkable though. We came for both lunch and dinner and got something different each time. We also came on a Friday evening, and enjoyed the live band. A little overwhelming on the senses once the building is packed, but definitely an enjoyable experience. Not the easiest location for families with little ones, but families with preteens and teens will enjoy the range of choices.

I was entertaining a guest from out of town and I wanted to show them this unique place. I gave it a low score, to be fair, we never got in. The parking was full. We looked around the area to find somewhere to park but we could not park anywhere that we felt safe enough to leave our car.

Planning to eat at Georgia’s what is the parking situation like?
Written August 31, 2018
You can park in the parking lot next to the building BUT it is likely to be full so check. Other parking is across the street in short walking distance

I remember seeing a lot of teenagers when we went. It's a great place to socialize. There are plenty of food places that they can choose from.

We are coming to Anaheim from New Zealand in September, we will be staying at Howard Johnson on south Harbor boulevard. We will not have a car, is this place easy to get to via public transport or what do you recommend is the easiest/quickest/cheapest way to get here?
Written April 1, 2018
The easiest way to get there / go back to your accomodation is UBER. The public transport is not that developed in the area and passes by every 30-60 minutes, depending on the time of day. Additionally, most buses drive by 1 street - in vertical / horizontal lines, so in most cases you need to switch buses to go from one place to another (unless they are in the same street :)). We walked once, it was dark and at moments not very pleasant, because you go through a few shady-looking neighbourhoods plus below highway to get there from W Katella. Not a very pedestrian-friendly area. However, all is forgotten once you reach the destination :)

Is there still an orange grove behind, and if so can you visit it?
Written March 5, 2018
At one time, there was a small grove of citrus there; but there is not now. There are solitary citrus trees in that area for decorative purposes, but no groves.

and where from Disneyland is it?

it's sort of a communal gathering place with a bunch of restaurants in it. Trendy fusion cuisine seems to be a recurring theme . it's very neat. There's music at certain times, not sure if mostly weekend
Not too far from Disney

How are taxi rates from Disney Park to the Anaheim Packing District? Party of 5 we don't want to rent a car.
Written January 16, 2017
We stayed about 4 blocks away from Disney and I found the rates very reasonable. However, I would highly suggest using Uber. My dealings with them have been INFINITELY better than taxi anywhere. Make sure to request an Uber X. You'll get a Mini Van or large SUV. Plenty of room for 5 for that short trip!
