I visited here for the NAMM show. The center is very clean modern and large!! There are so many floors and meeting space that it is amazing. I was here with thousands of people, exhibits and equipment and the convention center had no problem facilitating it. It just need more parking because the lot got filled up pretty quickly.

Enjoying the NAMM show in the expanded convention center was exciting. There is quite a bit more exhibit space in a modern setting. I think they could add additional bathrooms and try to improve the transportation to and from. Anaheim around the convention center and Disney can be frustrating to trravel around

Nice hotel with decent options for food - could use a few more but with 9 family members and 4 rooms we were never really bored. Close to all types of restaurants nearby -walking distance! Disney is big attraction as well. Gym was in remodeling phase which was disappointing. Beautiful views of plam trees and snow capped mountains!

This is a very well-kept and run convention center. The place is very well situated very close to Disneyland, and surrounded by very good restaurants and hotels which are easy to get to within a short walk. We stayed at the Sheraton hotel, which was simply a block away. The facilities are very well-kept and overall the size of the venue to the size of our meeting was absolutely perfect. This is definitely an excellent choice for conventions of under 10,000 people.

Recently attended the Heli-Expo. I can’t speak for the parking because the whole venue is so accessible by walking or shuttle. Very accommodating. Nice engaging staff. Decent meal choices available onsite. So convenient to sooooo many hotels.

Were there for a Star Wars Celebration and had a wonderful time. The staff running the facility were very nice. The staff cleaning the facilities , serving food and security were all very helpful, attentive and genuine. We felt that really added to our positive experience for our event!

Conveniently, there's a food court inside the convention center (actually I think its in the bowels of the Hilton) but its right across the fountain from the convention center and there's a grill place, a Baja Fresh, a pizza place and a starbucks. In case you're perishing at a convention there on grapes and cheese cubes, run over to the food court and grab some hot (albeit pricey--think airport priced) food.

I work at the Anaheim Convention Center seasonally, so here are the other things that you can do that do not cost as much as others. If your into Disneyland, then you will love Knotts Berry Farm, it has all the coolest rides most of the rides are rollercosters, You can get a annual pass for only $99. So if you don't want to spend a ton of money try Knotts it on Beach Blvd. Very close. As for food, go to the Grocery store its a hole lot cheaper, Food 4 Less is right around the corner at Euclid on Katella they are open till 2am I think. They also have cooked Chickens and other prepared food. Definetly a huge savings compared to most of the restrants around the convention center. There are pleanty of fast food places SubWay, Carls, Jack in the Box, and DEL Taco, by far the cheapest and best, they have a dollar menu that is pretty good. Bring your own drinks because they cost $3. for a pepsi water and gatoraid, and they dont have coke. Also, everynight at 9:30pm Disneyland puts on a fireworks show that can be seen from anywhere in the Anaheim Area, it is always free and where ever your at is a cool place to see it, just make sure there aren't any trees in your way and your set. If your at the convention center the restrooms are easily accessable just look up for the main buildings where the walls go all the way up to the ceiling that is where all the restrooms are at each end of the corridors and turn the corner about 20' from the little restrooms at the end are the main restrooms with 50 restrooms and a make up counter with mirrors, they even give out free tampons. You can't beat that. There is a pizza place open till 4am on Harbor Blvd. go north up harbor on the left side right past ball, and pass shakeys pizza. Buses Run on Harbor and Katella all night usually every hour, but check the schedule (714) 636-Ride & always ask for a transfer, that is a free pass to the connecting bus. Parking is costly so take the bus or walk, and always wear good walking shoes. The convention center also has free chargeing stations to charge your cell phone they are located in the front of the convention center at the main corridor. If your into the Beach we have some of the best beaches around, Huntington Beach just go down Beach Blvd. South Bound all roads dead end at the PCH. They usually have free bands playing there and theres lots to see and you do not need a fishing license to fish off the pier, the pier is open from 5am to midnight. If you end up at the Newport Pier they have a fresh catch where all the fishing boats pull right up and unload there catch of the day. Get there early they open at 5am I think. But they line is long until they open the doors. If your into a senic ride go to Santiago Canyon, Really nice ride, in the mountains and its 15mins tops. Take Katella up toward the hills, south bound and you should run right into it. Look at your map ahead of time not sure that you can get good receiption up there. There is a really cool bar there and they always serve food in the afternoons. It's called Cooks Corner, nice place to have a cold one. That's it have a great time. and Drive Safe!!!

Can someone please explain where the will call booth is?
Christi Carl Galla
Huntington Beach, CA28 contributions
The will call for the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center is located at the Arena right off of Katella, you can see it from the sidewalk. The Arena is different then the rest of the Convention Center, it has a rounded egg shaped roof. The Arena is located between North Hall (the newest hall) and A Hall. A Hall actually is attached to the Arena. Easily accessable from Katella off the sidewalk out front of the Anaheim Convention Center. There are 3 windows there with little talk thru circle voice boxes. Each window has a little circle vent for you to talk thru. That is the Will Call. Look up and you will notice that the roof of the Arena is different then the rest of the place. The Arena has been there and was built first before the convention center. If your walking down Katella you can see it from the sidewalk. Last I checked that is where it has always been. The side walk has a passage way right to it, its all cement and it faces Katella. The windows face Katella off to the side a bit. 1/2 way between Harbor and West aka Disneyland Way. On Katella facing the street - Katella.

Anaheim has broken the record in 2017 24.2 Million, in 2015 there were over 42 Million. And over 9 Billion Spent. Anaheim is one of Americas most popular places because of Disneyland. Anaheim Convention Center is directly across from Disneyland.

There is a wonderful Marriott right next door.
Where can we park for "free" and walk (a "short" walk) to the convention center to just be there for about 1.5 hours ( just wanna buy something at a booth there)?
Christi Carl Galla
Huntington Beach, CA28 contributions
There is no where to park that is free unless you staying at one of the hotels then you get to park at the hotel for free. Anywhere else is strictly prohibited without a permit and you have to live there to get one of those. Don't park across the street in back because they show up in less then 15 mins to tow you away. Those people will not put up with it and I dont blame them. It's got to be really bad living across the street from there.

I think the parking rate is $9-$10 per day but they might have less for a few hours parking.
