As the other comments mention - FALSE ADVERTISING - all the pictures on their website are from the Guadalupe Island trip where they are allowed to chum and bait and do whatever it takes to get the sharks to come to the cage. The Farallon Islands on the other hand are a national sanctuary. Im sure back in the day... More

Yes the trip to the islands is beautiful. But you are paying $900 to see some jellyfish, maybe a whale and some sea lions, but no sharks. Evidently they are not allowed to bait the waters due to the area being protected. So they throw out 2 fake seal decoys while you are diving. The crew is nice and professional.... More

The crew was professional and friendly! With that said...for the money spent you must understand you are rolling the dice. They do NOT bait the sharks so your encounter is by chance only. Go to a destination where they are legally permitted to bait the sharks if your ultimate goal is a must see otherwise prepare for a nice boat... More

Nothing new to add really to previous posts, but want to reiterate what others have said just to reinforce how disappointed we were and what  a rip off Great White Adventures is.  Hopefully we can discourage others and if we save one person from giving money to this company our wasted money may not have been wasted in vain.  We... Myself and a friend went out on Oct. 1st, 2015 to the Farallon Islands. AMAZING!!!!! We encountered five GW's. I saw two when I was in the cage and three surface predations. I was very nervous when I first booked as the reviews on trip advisor were mostly negative. Not anymore. One of the greatest days of my life. HUGE... More

I had been looking forward to this trip for 2 months and it was very high on my bucket list. I boarded my flight and flew out to the bay area the day before I was supposed to go out on the trip. When I arrived I received a phone call stating that they were cancelling the trip due to... More

3 things that my husband loves; diving, sharks and me :) So we decided to book the trip on the new boat with Great White Adventures - Nautilus Belle Amie. Lots of logistics to get everything set up for transportation and crossing the border, but that is to be expected. After our 22 hours trek from Ensenada to Guadalupe, we... More

I have been on two trips down to Guadalupe to dive with Great Whites. Both times we saw sharks everyday and up to 5 at a time. We had a really good group on board which meant if you where diving or on deck you were having fun. The food was great and plenty of it. You can't describe the... More

There are a lot of negative reviews here, which seem to fall into two categories: (a) There was some issue with communication and trip cancellation; (b) There weren't any sharks/they didn't chum the water/the water was too cold/visibility was poor. We went to the Farallon Islands with Great White Adventures this weekend and everything ran smoothly, so I can't speak... More

Do not touch this company. My husband turned up to find the dive had been cancelled. They did not telephone him to warn him beforehand. They have not returned calls or e-mails and we need the information to be able to claim from our insurance. This is a very shady company. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY unless you... More
