Great Hike!

There are many different trails to take & for different levels of ability. Wear good shoes & take enough water. The Views are great!

Great quick hike to stay healthy and unwind. Different trails to take depending on the time you have. Awesome view of Superstition Mountain.

There are several hikes with something for every level of stamina. There is a botanical garden to stroll thru and a vigorous hike straight up the mountain. The only downside is the lack of restroom facilities. Not even a portable toilet. That can be distressing if your visit there is a lengthy one. Free to the public. Good parking.

You now can not only hiking the many wonderful trails on the mountain and around it but there is a very nice walking trail on flat land by the parking lot. They have the names of the different cactus' and plants listed so you can get familiar with the desert plants. If you didn't want to hike but just do... More

We went on a fairly long hike with my brother-in-law. Some steep climbs and a bit of strenuous walking. Was definitely worth the visit.

Silly Mountain has a good network of trails and is very close to hwy 60 so easy to reach. The trails vary in steepness and ruggedness. We stayed on fairly easy trails and had a great view of the area. On the return, I noticed a botanical walk that would be fully accessible. If you are not already familiar with... More

My wife and I went to Silly Mountain to see if it was something we could handle, we are in our late 50's and just started hiking. We found it to be a very comfortable hike, and we covered all the trails in the morning. There are a couple of tougher trails, but nothing we couldnt handle taking them a... More

Silly Mountain has something for all ages in it's network of a dozen trails. Whether it be a good cardica workout or just a leisurely walk to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the Sonoran Desert, this park has it all. A don't miss feature of this park is the diverse biotanical garden walk at the beginning of the trail head.... More
