Really a fun excursion. Went on the dinner cruise and had a great time. We were lucky enough to see the bighorn sheep on the mountain sides.

I have lived in Scottsdale/PHX collectively for almost 9 years, and have never been to the Apache Junction area, including being to Canyon Lake. I brought my 4 year old son with me and we had an absolute blast on the Dolly! It was easy to buy tickets online and we barely had to wait to board the boat. We... More

This ride was very peaceful and provided great views. Saw no wildlife during the 2 pm to 3:30 tour. Great value. Be sure to book before driving up there as the tour we were on was sold out. Snacks and beverages are available on board.

The boat ride was a leisurely informative trip. The staff are superb! The scenery and lake are gorgeous. The captain's narration was interesting and he spoke in such a clear manner, throwing in some humor, that it was please to listen to him. The boat was clean and in good shape. They made sure to do a safety speech right... More

This was a great experience my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the view the food and the atmosphere. We were lucky enough to see a bighorn sheep during our cruise. The narration cruise was very helpful and the dinner music was enjoyable. Every minute of the views were enjoyable and quite breathtaking. This was two and a half hours of... More

Beautiful, informative, relaxing 90 minute trip aboard a passenger boat designed to look like a steamboat on Canyon Lake. We saw bald eagles and mountain goats and a ram.

Going to the Dolly Steamboat is a great drive for a day trip through history. Allow at least a couple of hours to arrive by boarding time because your boarding number will be a lower number; the earlier you arrive. The crew, the tour guide and Captain of the ship were all very knowledgeable about the area. There are snacks,... More

This was a beautiful trip. We did the noon cruise it was 90 min long. This trip was well worth the money. The road to the boat was a little scary. Lots of hair pin turns and no guard rails.

This was the highlight of the Apache Trail tour from Detours. Montana was our tour guide and was awesome. The cruise on the lake was scenic and very relaxing. Had good narration on history of the area and geologic origin.
