I throughly enjoyed myself. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Out of all the tiger sanctuaries I been to this one was the best. Feeding the tiger was fun. And I enjoyed the cabybara encounter.

The kids had a great time at tigers for tomorrow. The staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. More big cats than any standard zoo. A hidden gem of a place. Far better than Birmingham zoo. Don’t miss it.

Disappointing
Jan 2021 • Solo
I had been interested in this place a while. The admission was deeply discounted today due to funding from The Daniel Foundation. Thanks Daniel Foundation!
All the animals seemed so very sad! There were interactive items ( like balls or tires) in every cage for the animals but none were using them today. Most animals were laying down and seemed to have blank stares but a few paced about. One bear and one tiger were not even interested in fresh food in their cages- I found that odd. The website states all the animals have been rescued but I looked and looked and could not find anything onsite about this. I am not doubting they are indeed rescues but it would have been nice to have some material somewhere that provided some information about this.
I left feeling sad because I didnt see any animals that didn't look miserable.

Many people see these reviews and we'd like to take a moment to respond to yous. We hate to hear that you were disappointed in your visit. We are happy to hear that you were able to enjoy the admission discount that was supported by a grant from the Daniel Foundation. We were very happy in choosing to use it towards our admissions to give back to the community. You mentioned all the enrichment toys (barrels, logs, balls, etc) you saw in the exhibits. You may have also noticed holes and a great bit of ware on them as well. That's because they do use them. We don't ask or train the animals to play on command to entertain visitors. I am the volunteer enrichment coordinator and personally would like to say a lot of work goes into every enrichment we use. From bubbles with wolves to putting scents in exhibits, and everything in-between. We work hard to enrich their lives daily. Many of the animals, usually full after feeding, enjoy lounging around (just like humans after a big meal). You did mention food. I can only assume you were visiting during or after feeding. The majority of the animals at the preserve are rescues. Some have come from zoos and are past what zoos consider their prime (perhaps with arthritis and they don't want a tiger limping across an exhibit), others from private owners (that bit off more than they could chew), and some from rescue missions here and abroad. Perhaps you should look up the work we have done in Guatemala to change their laws to better the lives of animals there as well. We provide forever homes for every animal that comes to the preserve and do not feel the need to advertise any bad situations they were previously in. Their new lives begin here at the preserve and we love to tell folks about all the exciting things the animals experience here to enrich their lives. We really wish you would have voiced your concern to any staff member during your visit. We would have been more than happy to discuss these things then, as we are an educational facility as well. We hope that you stay updated through our social media platforms to see the animals romping around and enjoying their enrichments. You could also check out visitors pictures posted on Google. Folks love to share pics of the animals playing and lounging around. Thanks, Wendy

RUDE staff!
Sep 2020 • Couples
I have never felt compelled to write a negative review but this place made me feel like I should. The staff was HORRENDOUSLY rude. Ive experienced “bad service” before but these people were extremely rude and disrespectful. They have a know-it-all attitude instead of coming from a place of wanting to teach people about animals. They make you feel as if you asked a stupid question. Arms crossed and body language like they’d rather be anywhere else. Not inviting at all. Pretty disappointing.

Awesome place! Must visit

Tigers for Tomorrow at Untamed Mountain is amazing because you can tell how much the staff cares about the well being of the animals who live there. The efforts they make in meeting all of the needs of their rescues are evident and very uplifting to see. It is pretty easy to get to and they allow guests to take photos as long as they are respectful to the animals. The tours are the best way to experience your visit so if you get the chance to take one--do it. Definitely going back to this place and bringing friends and family.

TRULY SPECTACULAR, DO IT
Jan 2020
WENT ON 1-16-2020 had a private tour and it was GREAT, to see the animals and the preserve trying to have them in large containment enclosure. Our guide was very knowledgeable of all the animals, she came for the tour and stayed as a volunteer for the last 13 years. Amazing is all I can say my wife and me were just awed by the whole thing, the wolves, the lions, the grizzle bears the white lions, the baby's, cougars. To hear the roar of the lions and tigers then the wolves start calling, WOW will be going back and take the grand children.

Absolutely GREAT!!!!

What can be said other than it was such a great visit to this awesome place. We were camping not far away and just looking for something to do. Ran across this place and jumped in the car and hit the road. All animals seemed to be well cared for and all the staff was nice and very knowledgeable. Spend at least 2 hours and enjoy!! And - it’s not a bad drive at all; you’re on the dirt portion of the road for less than a half a mile.
