We enjoyed a very educational and entertaining Saturday walking tour of the Beaty Historic District. The guides dress in period costume and know their facts. We also caught part of the cemetery tour last week.

Our first stop during our Athens visit was to the Visitors Center...it is located in a historic structure, a plus in of itself, with a cute little garden immediately adjacent...and very clean mens and women's bathrooms right outside...the person tending the desk was extremely pleasant...More
