I had contacted this park more than 6months before our stay. We needed a 50 amp site but you can only be assured to get one through a reservation if you reserve for a 7 night stay. We were only going to be there one night and we're assured that we should not have an issue getting a site. We... More

This is the most diverse camping/RV park I have ever seen. It is very large and has sights for every type of camper from tenting to luxury RVs. Just pick out your type. Some sites are tight, small and limited in what they offer. Almost all have electric and water and many also have sewer and 50 amp electric. Most... More

I was an artist at the Lil Calypso Art Show at Chuck's Marina on Lake Martin. I have previously stayed at motels in Alexander City, AL. Which were fine. But have always wanted to stay in a camping cabin on beautiful Lake Martin at one of the finest State Parks in the Nation. That being Wind Creek State Park in... More

We really enjoyed our trip here. There are so many things to. The picnic sites are spread out through the park making it easy to get a secluded one with nice view. The bathhouses were clean and very useful.

Get there early, but the folks at the boat rental place are great and prices are better than anywhere else around. We rented a bass boat for the day and had a really good time.

We spent three nights at a campsite on the water. The view was beautiful. The bath houses were nice and cleaned very regularly. They have great playgrounds, beach area and hiking trail. I would definitely stay again! My only complaints were that the campsites were a little too close to each other. It was not a big deal because we... More

We rented a boat here to go fishing for two days. They people in the rental/store facility were so friendly, helpful & efficient, we really appreciated them. Their rental prices, minnow prices,, etc. are very reasonable. They have a ton of stuff in their store, tackle, food, clothing, camping supplies, etc. The docks & boat ramps here are superb &... Travel Trailer camper hence the Glamping. We arrived at about 5 on a Friday. Several other people arrived at the same time. The staff at the check in area were very friendly and very efficient. I think of the five groups that were trying to check in at the same time NONE of us had our license plate numbers with... More
