Fantastic wilderness One of the most splendid places we ever seen ! So preserved , full of wildlife, incredibly quiet. An absolute must in the Jackson area Better if done with horse pack!

Don't be careless out there. Hunter with an elk down left his gun too far away when field dressing. Even with a rifle, wouldn't have been too much help. Bear's heart beats 8 X/minute. Shoot its heart out and it can still cover a lot...More

Left our hotel before dawn and went straight to Gros Ventre river. Well we were not disappointed as we manage to see a moose crossing the water. With the early mist, it was just so spectacular. It really felt like a very special day indeed
