We drove Chief Joseph Highway from Cook City MT. to Cody WY. A very scenic and beautiful drive. A fun drive with very little traffic. We really liked the deep canyon at the Rest Stop. The Red Rock were stunning.

This drive is simply amazing. Right off the bat we saw a large herd of antelope. The views are spectacular and we saw so many beautiful plants and wildlife. We stopped and stuck our feet in Dead Infian Creek and enjoyed various stops along the way.

Words can not really describe how much fun this drive is. The red rock cliffs are fascinating. The road has a lot of switch backs but it is in excellent condition and has ample width. A short drive to Cooke City is a great side trip for lunch
