The park shows many different art forms. It' s next to Mall and the Smithsonian museum of National History. We liked the beautifull art forms, the quit places at the pond and the shadow opportunities on a very hot day. There is also little cafe.

DC is great place to visit. However after a few days of museum, monument, museum, monument, museum, repeat. The average eighth grader is a bit overwhelmed. This was a fantastic break for our group. We went to the ice rink for a couple of hours...More

This place is closed more often than it's open. They close for no reason, without previous warning and kick people out without refund. If you have your skates, bring them, the rentals here are borderline dangerous. Someone should tell them that blades need to be...More

We walked through the sculpture garden on our way to the National Archives. Lovely gardens and sculptures...there was a jazz band playing in the bandstand and you could purchase cocktails- wonderful.

The ice rink behind the Archives building in the sculpture garden is awesome. One of the best public outdoor rinks. It was a little crowded but still manageable. Awesome setting, pin lights lit around the rink, Sinatra playing in background and great little cafe for...More

The sculptures were beautiful and interesting. The café inside had lots of great desserts and the employees were very friendly.

The large outdoor sculptures in the Garden are by turns whimsical and impressive. On a beautiful fall day, they were a delight to stroll through as well as to gaze at from the Pavilion Cafe (where we stopped for lunch). This is not the main...More

Excellent collection of sculptures in this small park - easy to find, good location. Nice place to take a break beside the fountain and café with food / drink too.
