Overview
More
After years of successfully plying their trade around the world, acclaimed magicians Brian Curry and Mark Phillips have decided this town isn't big enough for them both. In 'Catch Me', these two sleight-of-hand masters battle live, on stage for the title of 'Washington DC's Favorite Magician'. During the show, the audience selects the various styles of magic the contestants must perform. During intermission, audience members cast their votes to decide who wins the coveted 'Golden Wand' award. A well balanced mix of comedy, magic and audience participation, Catch Me is designed for audiences 18 years and older, and encourages patrons to 'dress to impress." Audiences may bring drinks from the Mayflower's bar, Edgar, to the performance.

What a wonderful comedy - magic show. Both Mark and Brian wowed the audience with fabulous magic. I highly recommend their “Magic Duel” to see who gets the trophy for the best magician in DC.

The time whizzed by during this hilarious, engaging performance. As much as I want to know how they did their tricks, I really don't want to know. The audience participation means that every show is likely unique, so I'll definitely be seeking out future performances....More

I went with an old college friend and two grandchildren and we all had a great time. The show moves quickly, has lots of variety, is funny for young and old, and keeps the audience involved. I'd definitely recommend it. Oh, and did I say...More

Fantastic magic! Loads of laughs! Great concept! We had so much fun, we didn’t want the show to end! Definitely a must see when in DC! Even if they have a joke about WV and Chicago 😁 Will definitely go again when in the area!

The first thing you should know is that they perform some of the most difficult magic tricks. They also perform them in a humorous and entertaining fashion. You are invited to get drinks from the hotel bar before the show begins, and at intermission, but...More

Thanks for the nice review John, and for sharing your perspective. We are not often compared to a Las Vegas show, but consider any comparison to P&T a compliment. Thank you for spreading the word about The Magic Duel.
