I've lived in the DC area for almost eight years now, but I learned a lot about the history of this dynamic city during the tour. I brought three out of town family members on the tour with me Labor Day weekend.
The tour guides were engaging, light hearted, and very kind. They provided ponchos for each of us as there was a light drizzle as we disembarked. My sister has knee pain and was nervous about riding the Segway, but the guides were very patient and encouraging to her. I overheard one of them offering supportive words and genuine kindness. She eventually gained confidence and truly enjoyed the experience. We all did!
I highly recommend this tour to native DCers, adults, kids... anyone who likes to learn and have good a new experience to remember.
