We have been to this venue for concerts as well as sports. Most recently we had the unique pleasure to experience Barbara Streisand live. She was awesome! Access via Uber or China Town metro stop makes the Verizon Center easily accessible from any where. All the seats provide a great view, but we prefer sections 105, 106' and 107 for... More

18000 people can fit in this indoor sports arena. However, it was the venue for a concert by Barbra Streisand. Crowd control was efficient, but in a wheelchair with that many people around, I was shocked. The outside ring of boutiques and custom food offerings was impressive. The attendants were super n helpful circumnavigation us almost 300 degrees from our... More

This was my first time at the Verizon Center. I drove from Philly to see the Summer Sixteen show on 8/20. My sister and I had bought tix last minute and did not realized how limited the view was from sec420 row M. We met a guy who was working sec432/433. He directed us to guest services to see if... To see Barbra Streisand live, in concert. I'm not much for big venues like the Verizon Center but I made an exception because I really wanted to see Barbra Streisand. The staff was extremely engaged, aware and helpful. They were also very appreciative of their guests that night, thanking us for coming and wishing us a good night. Signage was... More

We were immediately put in a great mood when our nose bleed tickets were upgraded to just one level off the floor. Perfect! How this happened, I haven't a clue, but a staff person suggested I take it up with Barbra. The staff at Verizon were so very positive and helpful to everyone. Streisand is 74. Let that sink in.... It was so wonderful to see Streisand perform at 74 years young! The venue had excellent sound and I think all seats had great views. It was particularly enjoyable for me to see a very well dressed, albeit slightly older , and very well behaved audience. The audience was very respectful and showed how much they love and appreciate this... More

We saw Barbra Streisand concert and enjoyed the entertainment - except for political comments. The venue is falling part - literally. Chair arms are falling off, railings are wobbly and place needs a face lift. Surprisingly exiting went well with the many thousand people.

We went to the Verizon Center to attend a concert with Paul McCartney. Long lines to get into the concert, but they moved very quickly and the security personnel we friendly. All the food and drink locations on the 200 level seemed to be open, but there were long lines to get alcohol. We just got a water, since we... More

The Verizon Centre is located at 7th and E streets in Chinatown, and is home to the Washington Wizards and Capitals as well as the city's main venue for large concerts. Just caught McCartney 's show and the sound and lighting as well as the seating are excellent for a hall holding 20,000 or so. The food ducks here overall... More

Sat in Section 112, Row B, Seats 1-2 on the aisle which is the second row up from the floor, Could see the stage fine as long as the first row wasn't standing. Then we had to stand too or look at the big screens. Bought parking in the Gallery Place Garage through Parking Panda. It exited fairly quickly. I never... More
