This place should be on every hockey fans list of places that they need to visit. Caps fans are great, and not rude. I have no hesitation bringing my ten year old daughter to a game. I would NOT take her to a Redskin game because of the fans there, and i love football. The place keeps things going during... More

Visited in September for a preseason game Capitals v Hurricanes. Was sparsely attended as top players still at World Champs, but tickets were super cheap. Still a good selection of food and drink outlets available - Chick-fil-A and a beer can the size of your head is always a good combo! Seats weren't the most comfy. Would have loved to... More

The place to go see sporting events for the major area sports teams. Nice building all seats offer good views. Standard modern arena. Food while normal prices for arena events offers good variety and is tasty. Doors open 1 hour prior to start of event.

The "food" at owner Ted's Verizon Center has sunk to new all time lows! This year the selection particularly sucks with nothing but arena food staples available and prepared in the finest of institutional style "cooking"! Such as deep fried boneless wings that are covered in sauces that mask the spoiled condition of the chicken inside the breaded coating...eat them... More

The best part of this venue is that the immediate area outside is nice and lively. Inside is a basic mediocre sports venue. The only staff member I encountered was very rude.

This place is fantastic! So much to see and do here! Watched the Wizards vs Cavaliers play an awesome, thrilling game on 6th of February. There is something going on during every break in the game. Hard not to have a great time here. Easy to navigate, plenty of choices for eating. They really try to keep the audience entertained,... More

Bought some tickets on game day for the Caps v. LA Kings. The venue is a typical sports arena in terms of food, drink, etc. Seats are pretty close together so if you are over 6' tall, you're going to be cramped. Beer prices are astronomical. Overall though, kind of what you get in a professional sports venue. Oh, and... More

I've seen several events at Verizon Center. Verizon Center is great for Washington Capitals games because you can see everything. We normally get cheap seats but have no problem seeing. If you are going to see a Washington Wizards game, I would not recommend the cheap seats because the basketball court is smaller than the ice rink making it harder... More

Watched the Wizards play. We have season tickets and park in Gallery Place. Parking runs between $25 - $40 depending on the day of the week. Weekdays are cheaper. We usually get food or desert after a game allowing the garage to clear out. Lots of good places within walking distance.
