The only time we go tot he DC Improv, is to see Bob Marley, and he's always great! Even with the two drink minimum, this experience is a great bargain. The food was very good. We'll likely be going back the next time Bob Marley...More
My wife and I popped in to see Roy Wood Jr. on 12/8/18. Now, I was strongly ticked at the website when it notes that [Paraphrasing here] "the tickets are cheaper so that's why there's a 2-item minimum" to which, when you crunch the numbers...More
I’ve been to a few comedy places, although very very tight seating, love the intimacy of small stage. The food is good and reasonably priced. Two drink minimum, good margaritas. I glad I purchased VIP seating but get there early. I was able to meet...More
We were able to secure tickets to see DeRay. The seating is very tight but it’s a small venue so what do you expect. It was a special engagement so you aren’t seating by first come, first serve. It was the order of the tickets...More
Traveled with Dad and Husband - great hospitality! The food and drink was well done - not usual cheap, crappy food. We enjoyed the comedian and the themes he presented. He was funny without any vulgarity or inappropriate comments.
I was happy with our decision to visit DC improv for Valentine’s day, we had good laughs and service was great! It was a sold out show, but they made sure everyone had a seat. Good comedy, good crowd and good times! We’ll be back
Our show was at 7PM with the doors opening at 6PM. Not familiar with the area, we walked to the venue with time to spare, getting in line at 5:40PM. Immediately after stepping in line, lots of others did too & the line was suddenly...More
Saw Ryan Davis for the second time. Comedy show was very funny! Even though the room looked like it was full when were arrived, we were seated promptly and got good seats. Food and drinks were good, I would go again:)
We went to the late show (9:45) where you are seated as to when you bought your tickets. They cram you in pretty tight, but no to the point where you are uncomfortable. There is a 2 item minimum per person which can be a...More
Try to get there not too much later than when the doors open to secure a good seat. You will be served fairly quickly. If you get there later as Gareth suggested, it will take more time since the venue has had time to fill... More
Try to get there not too much later than when the doors open to secure a good seat. You will be served fairly quickly. If you get there later as Gareth suggested, it will take more time since the venue has had time to fill and orders have backed up. You can eat during the show as well.
