Arena Stage is a great venue for theater going. Area has little crime dispite some other reviews. But there are few food options if you are running late other than the cafe in the building. While the food was fabulous, you needed a reservation for...More

We arrived at the theater late in a storm, not having had time to get dinner on the way. Having been to the Arena before on a recent visit to see Oklahoma, we thought the little restaurant upstairs smelled good. This time, we bypassed the...More

We got a season subscription with a couple of friends and found the venue with a marvelous design that makes you feel “in the play”. So far the plays and the acting have been excellent. They manage the logistics very well although the parking lot...More

We finally got a subscription to Arena Stage, and we were treated like royalty! Front row seats, and personalized note, and a good production (Turn me Loose). Parking is quick and easy (but only for pre-payers on the day we visited). We did not eat...More

Molly Smith brings cutting-edge plays that exhibit and encourage inclusion. I have been a season subscriber for several years. We just saw the superb "Turn Me Loose" at Arena Stage on Saturday. It is, as most of the plays at Arena Stage are, a "Must-See."...More

Enjoyable experience, friendly staff, excellent show. Every seat feels close to the stage. Sound is excellent and atmosphere comfortable. Nice to be downtown with good restaurants nearby.

We went to a play on a week night at the Arena Stage. It is a safe feeling neighborhood as we got out around 10:30 and had to walk about a half mile back to the hotel. There was a lot of foot-traffic in the...More

I am writing this review mainly to warn people to find another spot to eat before or after the performance. Arena Stage is a venerable Washington DC arts venue with reliably professional performances. When booking tickets online you are given the option of reserving parking...More

Great location, beautiful theatres, easy to book, only hurdle is parking but can book nearby garages. Lots of good restaurants close by on waterfront

Good 1. The play and theater were wonderful. Bad 1. The food was horrible. I would not recommend the dinner option. 2. Parking is scarce. I had to valet park my car and fight to get to an attendant after the play.

Fine venue. The show was a musical - not any songs were of the hum along variety but of story telling. From that aspect it reminded me of Umbrellas of Cherbourg. The theatre is intimate . We were in center balcony and had a partially...More

Saw the production of "Snow Child". The theater was very close to what you would see on Broadway. There are no bad seats. The production itself was also Broadway quality! The restaurant was excellent. Had a variety of entrees to choose from. Price was very...More
