They put the 'mock' in Democracy!

Great show by Capitol Steps on current U.S. Presidential campaigns and international issues. If you love politics and satire, you must see this before November 8th!

We had tickets for a Saturday evening performance. Parked at the Ronald Raegan Building early for the $15., for the great convenience of being located in same building as the show. After an excellent dinner at the nearby "The Hamilton" we collected our tickets from the will call section. They had a bar setup if you wanted drinks prior to... More

I was nervous about going to the show because my husband is European and I was not sure if he could relate or follow. But even if you only fairly follow political news, you will be able to understand the comedy. Very funny skits!

On our first evening in Washington DC, we saw the Capitol Steps. This show centers on political satire and lots of singing. I can't remember the last time I and my friends laughed so hard!!! There were FIVE performers and a piano player. There was not ONE moment that you were not totally entertained. DON'T MISS THIS - the talent... More

Enjoyed the Capital Steps at a local venue. With the political environment as unbelievable this year I was looking forward to some great lines. I was not disappointed. They even included Putin and the Pope! I think the only person missing was Elizabeth Warren. I think my favorite might have been Bill Clinton and all the inuendo. But Trump and... More

Taken by Congressam's aide for a tour of the Capitol initially then handed over to the tour guide for the Capitol. A little disappointed as the Capitol is undergoing a major overhaul so there is scaffolding inside and outside which hides a lot of the ceiling and paintings and view. Aslo the line at the Gallery was so long that... More

It's hard to believe there are only five performers and a piano player presenting this show! Their political satire kept us laughing the whole way through and no politician was safe from their performance! Their scripts address current events in a comical way and their respective talents are unbelievable! Terrific show that's well worth seeing!

The Capitol Steps put on a fun evening in a comfortable auditorium in the Ronald Reagan building. They are clever and skewer any of the pols, who of course give them such rich material to work with. Their race through 30 years of political highlights was hilarious. They keep things fresh and it is worth seeing them every year or... More

Not rolling in the aisle funny, but clever and entertaining. Would recommend it to everyone. Highly topical, skewering everyone. And affordable!

We are locals and had not been to this show in many years. Our only question afterwards was, "why did we wait so long to go back?" Fun, great venue, well located, perfect tourist or local night out. Lighthearted, but smart. Great value.
