We went with an extended family group that included ages 16-80, politically liberal to conservative, and I was worried whether everyone would enjoy it. I am happy to report that The Capitol Steps performers are equal opportunity satirists, and while they can be slightly "edgy" and risque, it was never too much. There were lots of fun impersonations and silly... More

Every Monday evening from 8-9pm the US Navy symphony-orchestra performs a fantastic show with soloists and a large orchestra. Sitting on the steps in front of the capital with the sun setting behind the Washington monument and the length of the mall shaded in twilight colors. A special moment to be remembered. Very talented senior performers.

We attended this show on our last night in DC. What a way to close it out! The songs they performed were hilarious, the impressions dead on. It made all the hours spent keeping up with the news worth it. In our 30s, we were some of the youngest people in the audience. But any age from high schooler on... More

Great show by Capitol Steps on current U.S. Presidential campaigns and international issues. If you love politics and satire, you must see this before November 8th!

We had tickets for a Saturday evening performance. Parked at the Ronald Raegan Building early for the $15., for the great convenience of being located in same building as the show. After an excellent dinner at the nearby "The Hamilton" we collected our tickets from the will call section. They had a bar setup if you wanted drinks prior to... More

I was nervous about going to the show because my husband is European and I was not sure if he could relate or follow. But even if you only fairly follow political news, you will be able to understand the comedy. Very funny skits!

On our first evening in Washington DC, we saw the Capitol Steps. This show centers on political satire and lots of singing. I can't remember the last time I and my friends laughed so hard!!! There were FIVE performers and a piano player. There was not ONE moment that you were not totally entertained. DON'T MISS THIS - the talent... More

Enjoyed the Capital Steps at a local venue. With the political environment as unbelievable this year I was looking forward to some great lines. I was not disappointed. They even included Putin and the Pope! I think the only person missing was Elizabeth Warren. I think my favorite might have been Bill Clinton and all the inuendo. But Trump and... More

Taken by Congressam's aide for a tour of the Capitol initially then handed over to the tour guide for the Capitol. A little disappointed as the Capitol is undergoing a major overhaul so there is scaffolding inside and outside which hides a lot of the ceiling and paintings and view. Aslo the line at the Gallery was so long that... More

It's hard to believe there are only five performers and a piano player presenting this show! Their political satire kept us laughing the whole way through and no politician was safe from their performance! Their scripts address current events in a comical way and their respective talents are unbelievable! Terrific show that's well worth seeing!
