We LOVE hop-on, hop-off buses, but they are not operating in DC right now, so we chose the Moonlight Monuments tour instead. We've visited DC before, but never had seen the monuments at night. This was a great tour! It got a little cold toward the end of the evening - would love to do this again in a warmer month! Our guide, Buckeye, gave a great narration as we drove around, and he was very polite, giving us exact instructions about returning to the bus at the three stops.

If you are large person, DO NOT take this tour. You are shamed and will be embarrassed by the staff. I was completely shamed and embarrassed because I am.plus size. I was humiliated. I would not recommend.

I really like the small group. We were able to ask any questions. We learned a lot about Washington D.C.

This vacation was our 11 year old son's choice. He is really interested in political history right now! We spent one day in Philadelphia and then headed to DC for two nights. We did this tour our first night in DC. It was phenomenal. Our tour guide was Mr. History and he was just amazing! He was super informative and hilarious! You could absolutely tell that he loves what he does! After I shared with him that my son loved Abe Lincoln he shared extra random facts about Lincoln. My son is still talking today about what a great time the tour was! This is a great way to see all of the monuments without all of the walking and/or driving. All of the guests for our tour arrived early so our tour ended up being a bit longer than expected which was an added bonus. I am pleasantly pleased to have spent an evening with Mr. History learning more about our great nation. I am 42 years old and thought I had learned it all. We would 100% do this tour again and I would raise it to 200% do this tour again if I could guarantee to have Mr. History as our guide again.

The sight of the monuments at night was very enjoyable although very disappointed about the Korean memorial being under renovation as it looks incredibly moving. Our Tour Guide spoke too fast and 50% of what he said was lost. In addition and Apologies to my American friends but his statement that 'America saved the World' in reference to WW2 is both offensive to the other Allies and historically inaccurate. Allied Troops killed only 200,000 German Troops whilst Russia killed a staggering 3,000,000. So actually Russia saved the World?
