Beautiful interior. Not very handicapped friendly. Many stairs to climb if you are on the mezzanine level where we were seated. Bring your credit card or money if you choose to purchase drinks or snacks. Friends with us each purchased a glass of champagne and paid $19 each. Seats are quite close with little wiggle room.…

This is a great place to catch a show, no matter where you sit you have a great view. Lots of steps if you're in the upper balcony.

First of all, this is a magnificant theatre--closest to Broadway that DC has. I've been coming here for >50 years--intimate and beautiful. We came for the "S & G Story"--great songs, but it was a glorified tribute band show. Very little story. Pales in comparison to "Jersey Boys", "Beautiful", & "Ain't Too Proud". It has the sense of a Broadway Theater and the shows are National Tours of Broadway Plays. If you have the time they run a in person lottery for a limited amount of discounted tickets 2 hours before show time.…

Love going to The National Theatre during their Broadway Series. They offer a lottery for most shoes in the Broadway Series. We have gotten lucky and received orchestra seats for $25 each (cash) during the lottery! Great way to see more shows without breaking the bank. The theatre is intimate and sound for our shoes this year was fantastic! We also learned tonight that they offer The Morning Show throughout the year on Saturday and kids are free. Performances are at 9:30am and 11am. Reservations are required. I can’t wait to bring my friends’ kids! …
