The large, white sculpture of MLK looks out across the basin as part of a series of quotes among the rocks and in's & out's. This is worth a visit as you walk the basin toward FDR and Jefferson, though it may not equal either.

This is beautiful, just beautiful. The quotes engraved on the walls, the monument facing out to the water ... the people standing discussing just how he touched their lives and continues to influence their world... beautiful.

This monument is amazing! Gorgeous and great attention to detail. Wish there was better parking but can't expect that in the DC area.

By just having a look at it brings back the memory of a great man who lived for his dream. A fitting tribute to the man who fought for the equality of the negros.

So impressive and all the quotes are inspirational. It was an extremely hot day, but there were places to sit in the shade and see MLKs face. Lovely view of Jefferson memorial across the water.

I was so grateful to finally see this in person, just wish it wasn't at the end of the National Mall. Love the statue, views and the quotes!

Very impressive memorial. Highly recommend having a guide interpret that symbolism to get more out of the visit by paying for a DC tour or overhearing a tour group.

I thought this Memorial was pretty astonishing! The whole area was very well kept and the scripts on the wall were awesome! Take the time out to go!
