Took my partner on a bottomless mimosas lunch for her birthday. We had a private table, 2 dozen roses and all you can eat buffet style lunch. The food was great and the staff was very polite. Looking forward to trying a night cruise.

We did the brunch cruise on labor day weekend. The food was really good with a nice selection. Every staff member we encountered seemed to genuinely love their job. I would definitely do this again! It is a bit pricey after fees. The food made up for that though.

Perfect way to see Mt. Vernon. We took the morning cruise which was very scenic on the river. The boat is temperature controlled and it was very enjoyable visiting Mt.Vernon by boat rather than a bus. The price includes the entrance ticket to Mt.Vernon and you can buy snacks and drinks on the boat if needed. We went in August... More

I gave the evening cruise as much as 2 stars because it is located in the great city of Washington, D.C. The food and music rate 1/2 star. I wish I had taken the brunch cruise since it is difficult to prepare that food poorly and a narrator would sound better than the music we heard. Sorry, SWOC.

Really enjoyable and fun. Well organised and coordinated with Mount Vernon so no time is wasted. Ran absolutely to schedule, giving three hours to explore which was time to get a good overview ( but not time to go to the grist mill) Snack bar on board very reasonably priced. Friendly crew members. Highly recommended for a great day out.

I was a little skeptical about booking this cruise based on the other reviews. However, we had a blast! The kids (7 & 14) loved it! We paid the extra to get by the window and have drink coupons. That sure made it nice at the end of the cruise. No need to settle up a ticket. There are games... More

My company hosts dinner events twice a year for approximately 200 people. This summer it was once again in DC. Two years ago we rented out the Spirit of Washington Dinner Cruise and due to the overwhelming success of the party in 2014... we did it again this past July. Once again - it was terrific! Food an staff were... More

I think it may have been a bad night, but this was a very bad choice. First, launch was in a construction zone. And we did not feel safe leaving the boat at ll:00. Secondly several items of our "deluxe" package was forgotten, including shrimp cocktail. Thirdly, honestly I did not feel safe on this cruise. Terrible night and embarrassing... More

I went on a lunch cruise on the Spirit of Washington with my family. The staff was very attentive and the food was very tasty. Our assigned table was directly beside the dance floor area in the middle of the vessel. Because there were no windows opposite us, we were unable to see the sites that were mentioned along the... We recently took this ship for a moonlight cruise of the Potomac. There really isn't a lot to see on that river besides airplanes landing and taking off at Reagan. It was a 3 hour cruise and we would have been happy to be done in 2 hours. The staff and atmosphere of the cruise were good. I enjoyed the... More
