Great opportunity to learn more about President Wilson but what I really enjoyed was the glimpse back through time to a home of this era. If you are up near DuPont Circle and have an hour, this home is worth a visit.

This house is a little bit away from other tourist sites, but we figured out how to take the bus, leaving a walk of under 1/2 mile. We were the only people on our tour, so got all our interests highlighted. One of the nicest...More

We're glad you were able to find us using public transportation! The closest bus line is the N2, N4, or N6 which stops on Massachusetts Ave at S Street, NW just one block from Wilson House. You can also take the Metro Red line to...More

A great museum and an excellent place for a small wedding. The museum is small so it doesn't take long to go through but it is filled with original furniture and other of the Wilsons' belongings. The staff was very friendly and gave very interesting...More

A leisurely walk from any hotel in NW DC, this museum is a hit. It's not a large place, and there isn't any parking - so consider a bus tour drop, cab or pedi cab (we walked). It's a step back in time to visit...More

We loved this tour of Wilson's DC home. The house is absolutely beautiful, and filled with gorgeous objects from Wilson's time as president. The young staff at the museum is utterly charming and professional. If you enjoy historical homes do not miss this one!

The only U.S. President who remained residing in Washington D.C. After his term in office. A look back at American upper-middle class living in the 1920s. Getting there is not a simple matter. Two options. Drive there and look for parking (good luck). Use the...More

An excellent look at the time after WWI. The staff is very knowledgeable about the house, the President and his wife who lived in the house for almost 40 years after his death. Was a very delightful trip back in time. Would highly recommend the...More
