Honoring Mandarin Oriental's eastern culture, our spa is an oasis of holistic therapy for the body, mind and spirit. Our heat and water experience is like no other, offering guests a serene journey through a muscle soothing amethyst steam room to the crystal freshness of our ice fountain. It's time to leave the real world behind and enter a new dimension of relaxation, which begins with a private consultation.

I was really expecting something out of the ordinary in this spa experience at over $250 for a basic massage. What I got was nothing special. Its your typical spa, they offer the following amenities which I will rate also: Locker rooms with robes, hair products, lotion, hair dryers, qtips, etc. the locker rooms were nice, seemed well kept and... For a treat I took my fourteen year old daughter to the spa for pedicure to be followed by lunch at Muse and then to walk the Tidal basin to see the Cherry Blossoms. It was a incredible day. We checked into the spa and took advantage of the pool, tropical rain shower, steam room, jetted bath and relaxation room.... More

I had an oriental message with Thia and it was one of the best massages. She paid very careful attention to my needs and requests. The front desk is exemplary, they greet you with tea and a hot towel. They take your shoes in the lobby and then take you back to a nice and cozy oasis with a sizable... More

A visit to this spa is an experience, and the staff is outstanding at creating that sense of being transported to a far away place. I had a massage and a facial, and based on the facility and prices I had high expectations. The massage was just what I needed, however I thought the attendant who provided the facial, lacked... I went to the Spa at the Mandarin to celebrate my birthday. I usually go to the four Seasons in Georgetown but heard this place was better. I arrived and the attendant gave me a brief tour of the facility and set me up with a locker. The robe inside my locker looked like it's been around since the hotel... More

This was terrific. From the valet parking ($11 with validation at the spa) to the receptionist who pointed me in the right direction of the spa, to the spa desk and the masseuse, it was perfect. Very calming, beautiful, and peaceful. I started out changing in the women's locker room and went to the (women's only) spa area with a... More

I spent the day at the spa last weekend with several girlfriends. The facilities are fantastic, we especially enjoyed the clothing optional whirlpool and steam room. The relaxation room was wonderful, if a bit crowded, and the showers and vanity areas were great. The treatments I got (body wrap and 80 minute hot stone massage) were some of the best... More

I LOVE going to spas. I love pampering myself! I have always wanted to go to the Mandarin spa, but I know that traveling to its location will be annoying to me because of the DC traffic. A few years ago, I booked services there for my uncle because this spa customizes massages for specific needs (he is diabetic) and... More

The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental - Washington DC is a relaxing experience, even if you're not going for a traditional treatment. A better-than-average gym and indoor pool are very good but the multi-head, semi-circular shower is heaven. Steam room, sauna, and hot pool, and quiet room round out the experience and available amenities for those not "paying" for treatments.... More
