I attended a show Friday night and was very pleased by this venue. It is a supper club and music venue for jazz and blues --many excellent shows on their roster. The service and menu were good and the vibe is lovely for an intimate...More

I was staying in Tysons Corner for a long business week and my cousin picked me up after work and we came to this place. We found it originally on Groupon, but the groupon was for a future-dated event, so we called and the venue...More

Great spot for top jazz performers worth the trip to Georgetown (the nearest DC metro is Foggy Bottom about 15 minutes walk). Spend the evening walking Georgetown then head over for a set at this all ages club.

No trip to DC is complete without experiencing a show at Blues Alley. Dinner and show are a good deal. The best carrot cake in town.

The worst jazz club experience ever. The show tonight was not on a stage but in the darkness of the dinning area, where intoxicated loud and disruptive couple ruined the music. Staff did nothing about it. Poor musicians and law-abiding listeners.

Depending on the artist or group performing, you will absolutely love the experience. This is a small, intimate setting with great acoustics. There are a few "big names" but mostly up and comers. There is food, mostly good, but one will find themselves literally rubbing...More

It's easy to go on the Blues Alley website. You'll find the calendar of events, just scroll down through January. And you can click on the shows (8 p.m. or 10 p.m. show) and purchase tickets ahead of time. I recommend going... More
