I learned more about FDR from the memorial than I learned in school!!! And Eleanor is there too. This was my favorite and I am a huge fan of both Lincoln and Jefferson. This is a MUST see.

Very unusual memorial also very interesting . It depicts various stages of FDRs life . You walk through quite a large area to see it all

FDR Memorial was a great learning experience with the monuments, quotes and beautiful scenery. My only complaint is that it was very big so it took a while to finish.

One of the best memorials in D.C. as far as I'm concerned. It consists of four granite block outdoor "rooms" representing each of FDR's four terms. It was very well done, with a mix of sculpture, bronze reliefs, and plaques with quotes. It was very...More

Even though we accidentally walked through it backwards, it was breathtaking. I was pleased to see that they also had a small statue for Eleanor Roosevelt. The whole thing was huge, peaceful, and shady. This is a wonderful memorial.

This memorial, as all of the memorials in the area, was breathtaking. There were different areas and quotes along the way. Well done! Will definitely visit again, and bring my children to witness.

Lots of information for tourists, especially international visitors who may not know much about US presidents and their terms. Was great to see lots of school children taking it in

We didn't expect FDR to be sitting in a wheelchair at the beginning of the memorial but then read up on it on Wikipedia.

A wonderfully laid out memorial that charts both Roosevelts' lives and their service. Take your time and go in the afternoon as the light on the statues is just incredible.

I really liked walking around this memorial with all its statues in clever aspects and positions. Also the constant flow of water and waterfalls with rocks and quotes to read.
