Overall I enjoyed the float experience. Garage parking is available directly across for street. However, I would not recommend this location due to dishonest practices. I booked my visit directly with the owner (Pedramin). I requested two rooms, one for myself and a friend. During the booking call, I requested the ability to play a customized playlist during my float. Unfortunately, upon arrival, my pod was not functional. I asked to switch rooms, but the staff could not accommodate me, stating customers with a subscription receive room preference. My float consisted of 90 minutes of thunder; it was not as relaxing as I hoped. Following my session, I requested to contact the owner. The owner has yet to return my call or respond to my email. Staff should only allow booking if the room and amenities are not fully functional. This was a bait-and-switch experience. I suggest researching other locations.

I've never done float therapy/ sensory deprivation therapy before but I decided to give it a shot after reading the reviews. The pics and reviews don't do it enough justice. This place was amazing from the moment you walk in. Its very clean and the vibe is very tranquil. The rooms were really cool and the pod was even better. Initially i thought 60 mins would be really long but by the end, I wish I did 90 mins at least. Really relaxing. I haven't felt this stress/tension free in a long time. I also see how this would benefit folks with pain issues. Will definitely recommend this place. 5 stars. I'll be back on a monthly basis at the very least.

My girlfriend and I had our first float session today. We each had separate pods. I can’t say enough about the spa and the people. The experience was phenomenal. So relaxing. I look forward to my next visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had some free time, and I was in the neighborhood, so I booked an appointment for an hour float. I couldn't believe how fast the hour went by, and the experience was truly relaxing. Would definitely do this again.

My husband and I had some extra time in DC while there for a conference so we decided to try this float spa -- a new experience for both of us. We each had our own tank and we both enjoyed the experience immensely! Not only was it very relaxing mentally but we left the spa without the aches & pains we walked in with. Can't wait to do this again!

I went to Soulex DC for a float. I made my reservation online with ease. I had been to another facility and was very pleased so I thought it would be hard to beat. Soulex blew it out of the water! Every little detail was perfection. The staff was very welcoming, the space was absolutely gorgeous, and I wish I could go here every week. I choose the open room for my float, received a full orientation to the room, spa, and all amenities. Each room has a private shower, robes, towels, etc. I LOVED this place and will be making my next reservation ASAP!

My wife and I booked a 1 hour session when we were in DC for the weekend. The facility is new, clean, and very zen-like. After signing our legal waivers, we were shown to our private rooms and provided with a detailed explanation of how things worked and what to expect. The experience is truly indescribable and absolutely worth trying. Super relaxing, invigorating and nothing like any other “spa treatment” you’ve ever had. A must try!!!!

This spa is new and it appears to be very well run and very clean. A staff member (Brian) was extremely professional and explained the entire process. This was my first time at SOULEX but not my first "float". The pod was fine for me (I'm 5'9") but I can see where a larger person may not have a positive float experience in a pod of this size. I'm returning to DC in a few weeks and I intend to book another session.

When I first heard about the "float spa" experience I couldn't imagine how you could be suspended in salt water within a float pod. However, I can attest that it is truly possible and totally relaxing! SOULEX Float Spa is the first of its kind in Washington DC and is truly a first class experience! For anyone visiting DC, it's a great way to recover from a day of walking the city. If you're a local working in a high-pressure job, it's a way to destress and forget the tensions of the day. The space is beautifully decorated and each float room has beautiful wood paneling and its own shower for before and after your float. If you're looking for a unique holiday gift or a way to treat someone special to an experience they will never forget, I highly recommend you consider this for an experience gift.
