What an awesome collection of the works of Georgia O'Keefe as well as other famous artists! The size of this collection is easy on the eyes and does not overload the brain as so often happens with larger collections! I really enjoyed visiting this museum...More

Call me biased, but the Phillips Collection is my favorite museum in all of Washington, DC. I sit on their Phillips Contemporaries Committee and I could not be more proud to be apart of such a magnificent institution. From its unprecedented collection to the building...More

this is a lovely small museum - I really enjoy this because you can spend a leisurely afternoon & see the how exhibit. Large museums can make me feel overwhelmed. And this collection has a lot of nice pieces

One of the best small museums I have been to and I have been to many. The private collection is amazing with artists from around the world.

We saw the American photographic exhibition which is a sociological gem. The collection has notable impressionist pieces. The building was origionally the home of the Collector and his wife and is interesting in its own right

Mr. Phillips assembled wonderful collection of modern art housed in a lovely series of small galleries that are perfect for unhurried, close-up viewing. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe and outdoor terraces were pleasant places for lunch or coffee.
