Washington DC looks spectacular when lit up at night, so make the most of your time in the city by going on an evening tour on an open-air trolley. Going on an organized tour saves time working out local public transport, and means you can learn along the way through guide commentary. Tick off lots of top landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, the Washington Memorial, and more.

The Anthem is modern decor & has a movable stage & backdrop that will allow their audience capacity to vary from 2,500 to 6,000. The balconies are closer to the stage than most venues. The theater has comfortable seating, excellent acoustics & some of the world’s leading & most talented performers have already presented themselves here, since opening in 2017. A few performers that I remember performing here are, Foo Fighters, Lorde, Erykah Badu, Bob Dylan, Judas Priest, Little Big Town, Kenny Chesney, Elvis Costello & Blondie, Phoenix, The Killers, & the list goes on. An Evening with Dr. Jane Goodall at The Anthem Theatre was one of the many lectures that has been given in this space. So, the Anthem is not only great for concert goers. It serves as a convention center too. Drinks are offered in their Marquee Bar, which is elevated & has a great view of the Wharf & Potomac River. The sunsets here are very nice. I don’t think you necessarily need to have a theater ticket to enjoy the Marquee Bar. There’s also many dining options conveniently available to you at the Wharf, before your event. The Anthem is a venue in itself & it can be a repeat performance, which you’ll enjoy over & over again.

We were visiting our daughter who attends college in DC and went to catch our favorite band. It was a sold out show so the lines were long but the place was well organized in getting through security, plenty of screeners. There were multiple bars that took some time but for the size of the crowd they were good. The did have coat checks but since it was a very cold night we had to go to the third floor to find a coat check that was not full (may want to inform people they have coat checks on their level) but that was a minor inconvenience. We did not eat there so would not be able to review the food. The venue holds 6,000 and it was still comfortable. We had GA floor seats (we like to stand) but plenty of room from other events we have been too. But most of all it is a music venue and have to say it was one of the best sounding venues we have ever been too. It was an unbelievable clean sound. Kudos to who ever designed that place as there is not a bad seat in the house! If there is someone playing there would highly recommend going to see a show there.

Have been to the Anthem for a wide range of performances and each time I am impressed. Although the last time I went to a concert and had seats on the side I believe the sound was distorted. Great food options either outside or at the Anthem.

Much bigger and more impressive than I imagined. it's in the middle of an urban nightlife area, yet it has the size and scope of something more like an arena. Sight lines are good. Food and drink options are also good - or if you want to go out on the Wharf beforehand, that's a fun place to be as well.

Much larger than is appears from the outside. The box seats offer great views. The space is modern and well kept. The rows in the boxes were not right on top of each other so we had leg room!
