Our guide, Anthony, was an army officer and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the army, Arlington, and history in general. He did an excellent job of sharing relevant information in a concise manner and answering everyone's questions. Highly recommend taking this tour of Arlington, the context is absolutely necessary. Try to get Anthony if you can.

Dan was an amazing tour guide! He went above and beyond to show us everything to the tiniest (and sometimes funniest) details. The tour was very well organized and complete (you got to see almost all major monuments/memorials and their detailed history). Dan (our tour guide) also made sure we had all our questions answered and was happy to share his knowledge with us. Highly recommended

Our tour of the Washington Mall Monument’s was outstanding. Our tour guide was excellent. He knowledge was great, he engaged the group well and gave time for everyone to absorb and enjoy the information. If you want a great DC experience… do this tour!

The tour started at 6PM near the Lockkeepers stone house. Our guide was a cool young lady Becca. The tour visits the memorials monuments around the Memorial Pool, along the Independence Avenue.
It was interesting, with a lot of "insider" details that the guide shared from her own experience. I liked the way everything was explained - clear and in relation to relevant events and places.
We did it in February, so it was a bit cold outside, and soon after the beginning of the tour, daylight was gone, so in case you care about good photos - bring a camera with a flas a it will be dark outside in winter months. At every stop you get 5-10 minutes for taking photos, which seemed to be too long at some points, especially because of the darkness and cold weather.
All in all, it was a good experience, and the guide made it interesting and meaningful.

Gideon was a very knowledgeable guide at Arlington National Cemetery. We learned so much from him about the history of this beautiful place. You could see the excitement in him to teach us about everything he knew about Arlington. He made sure we got to the Tomb of the Unknown in time to witness the very moving Changing of the Guard ceremony. He also highlighted some important information about other areas of the Cemetery.
I highly recommend this tour - especially if it is guided by Gideon.

We did the DC by foot National Mall tour. It was 3 hours from start to finish and was a great tour. We had 3 kids with us as well and despite some whining about how long it was, they really enjoyed listening and learning as we did. Gideon, our tour guide, was patient and thorough. He was knowledgeable and kept it interesting too. This was our first time doing a tour with DC by foot and we would definitely book another if we come again.

Ingeborg was an awesome tour guide that grew up in the DC area and knew all of the history. There was not a single question we could stump her with. She gives you plenty of information and then the space and time to absorb all you want. We never once felt rushed or like we were a burden. She was AWESOME!! We did the Moonlight & Memorial Tour on our 32nd wedding anniversary.

We went on the Arlington Cemetery walking tour. It was a gorgeous hot day and Stephen paced the tour perfectly with plenty of shade stops where lots of information was given! He perfectly timed our viewing of the Changing of the Guard and got us the best viewing spot ever! Excellent tour - would highly recommend.

This was a great tour. It covered so many of the big monuments. The nighttime views were beautiful. Our tour guide, Ingeborg, was very knowledgeable about the sites and history. You could tell that she really loves her hometown. Would highly recommend this tour.

I did the moonlight and monuments tour, the guide was Ingeborg. She was entertaining and knowledgeable and was clearly passionate about DC. It was fantastic to see the memorials lit up at night, and I felt safer doing so as part of a group. There were 10 people in the group which was a good number.
This was a name your own price tour, and I was a little apprehensive as I didn't want to pay the wrong amount, but fortunately the guide suggested about $20 is normal at the beginning of the tour, which was helpful.

They do do other night tours - a scandals tour is one of them.

We pre-paid because we were a large group- $12/person. It's really up to you. I think other people paid around $10, but the tour guide said there's no fixed price.
