The Nationals stadium is a great ballpark. Everything is easily accessible, food options abound, servers are friendly enough, prices could be a bit lower, but all in all, good ballpark. You can get cheap seat tickets relatively easy and the seats aren't bad. Even Opera...More
The Washington Nationals are my favorite baseball team. I wish that I could say that Nats Park was my favorite ball park, but I can't. Going to a ball park is about the game yes, but one should also get the feel of the city...More
This was my first visit to Nationals Park and just made it before the Nats baseball season ended. I was fortunate enough to have seen Max Scherzer get his 300th strikeout! I had great seats a few rows behind the visiting team’s dugout.
We are huge Nationals fans so we love Nats Park, but even if we weren't, it is a great place to hang out - very comfortable, happy, family friendly. Throughout the season, we get seats in different sections of the Park to soak in the...More
Attended a work special event at Nationals Park, and it was nice and fun. The food was excellent, and the drink options were good, too.
Overall, this location is unique and very good for a special event for Charities or Business Associations.
Great park, easy walk from surrounding hotels or Metro.
Buy the souvenir cup, free refills or not be scared to buy water from outside the park venders. The park allows you to bring in outside unopened water.
I was really surprised as we were approaching the ballpark to see the surrounding neighborhoods. You'd think there would be an effort to keep the areas within 1-5 miles in good shape - I guess that's the former city planner in me. But the ballpark...More

Nats Stadium in located near the Green Line Metro, so you don't need to find a hotel nearby. There are very many hotels in the DC area as well as AiRBNBs. Find something that suits you just be sure the location is near a Metro. Consider the Crystal City (located near Regan Airport) where the chain hotels are a bit less than downtown.
Hi all, after a bit of advice - when I was last visiting Washington from the UK I was able to buy tickets at the stadium on the day of the game for the Nationals. I come to New York on saturday and was wondering if you could do the same for Mets tickets? Only interested in the cheap seats $14-30 - do you think they will still be on sale for the monday/tuesday night games(coincidentally they are playing the Nationals)? I am guessing Yankee tickets for their friday night game will be harder...More

Parking near Springmaid Pier next week (1 Replies)
This will be my first time to Myrtle Beach. Can anyone tell me if there will be parking near springmaid pier next week? My 11 year old is competing at Lifeguarding Nationals held near the pier. We (me, my husband, and 3 kids - 11, 8 and 6) will be staying at Compass Cove. My guess is that it will be too far to walk with the kids. Also, are there any inexpensive family restaurants to eat at in that area? We are leaving in 2 days and can't wait! Thanks for your help!

There is a bit of parking there just north of the pier (in between Damon's and Springmaid Resort) Its a large grassy area that they use for parking for special events. You do have some parking in the Damon's lot that they are not that restrictive of who parks there. As for walking, yea, that would be a bit of a hike...maybe 2-3 mile each way. You could always take the bus (it runs the full length of the blvd.) In that area for food you have Damon's Ribs, Chicken and More and Nibils there...More
