I consider this the most impressive war memorial in DC. Not much hype or publicity behind it but it is a well.designed and beautiful tribute. Must see.

I highly recommend taking a stroll here in the late evening. The still quiet of the night coupled with the up lighting of the large statues will make you really feel the eeriness that those men must have had to endure.

I was very impressed by this Memorial to the Korean War soldiers. The last time I was to DC this was not there (guess it's been awhile) and it is well placed and well thought out. I was lucky enough to view this by daylight...More

This is one of the most creative memorials from the statutes of the soldiers climbing up the hill to the calming water feature to the wall imprinted with veterans grouped by their different contributions--very interesting to see. Near the Lincoln Memorial so easy to see...More

The design of this memorial garden is brilliant and it was lovely to walk through it although clearly this is there so we remember those who gave their lives. Very quiet and peaceful.

It is not easy to describe the way this memorial captures the emotion, fear and exhaustion of that "stick" of infantrymen on patrol. All I can do is suggest that you take the time for your imagination to wander when you visit

A very well done memorial that allows the visitor to get a tiny glimpse into the lives of the heroes of this war. The detail of the statues along with the accompanying wall give us a connection to a sometimes forgotten conflict.

Next to Lincoln memorial and Vietnam memorial it is important to observe and give thanks to those that served. The exhibit was interesting with statue soldiers walking through fields. Take the 30 minutes to walk through this memorial to give thanks in respect to those...More

We went there for the first time at night and it was as unique if not more then during the day. The soldiers are so well depicted and the aura around the place is palpable. This is a must do while in DC.

Thank you for your service. There is no special daily event that is part of the monument although some service organizations meet there infrequently. Be advised that the winding path that ascends the monument has about 100... More

There is so much to see for free, that you will not have to pay for much. Eating is not the cheapest anywhere, but you're in DC. They're spending your money faster than you can! Enjoy!

The memorials are free, if you want to go up into the Washington Monument I would find out what day you will be there and pay the small fee online and get them ASAP!!
