Lots of Civil War history on display right now, including Matthew Brady portraits. Well organized, very educational. Covers important people in the arts, sports, military, etc.

At the National Portrait Gallery you show up at the appointed time for walkin tours. Meet behind the information desk on the F Street side of the building. Enjoy.
