Must see! Even better at night. The reflection on the pool is beautiful. Easy walking and great views.

We enjoyed sitting on a bench and marveling at the views. It was relaxing after walking through a museum. Wish we had brought a frisbee to throw on the Mall!

It was a good long walk going from end to end, but worth seeing all the statues. It was nice to see how much people took advantage of using the green space. People walking dogs, playing ball and just sitting on the grass reading.
This was a great place to walk and see the history of this country. The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, FDR Memorial and Jefferson Memorial were all great to see.
Imagine a national lawn surrounded by free monuments and museums. Tour to your hearts content without paying any fees because it's all free, except for the parking. Great views of the Washington Monument and the US Capitol. Practically everything is within walking distance.
