Gustave Caillebotte: The Painter's Eye, stunning exhibit featuring his most famous works. Audio guide was very informative. Entrance is free as are most museums in DC. Painting of floor scrapers was a surprise. This historic art museum was worth every second spent exploring!

The 18-19th century French and the Dutch and Flemish galleries were especially good. It provided a great stroll in a beautiful building with amazing scenery. You can take pictures of almost everything there since they have a hefty in-house collection.

I visited midday on a weekday, and there was no line. Though busy, it was not crowded.
