My expectations were a little high for the Air and Space Musuem. I was a little disappointed. A disclaimer though is that I was alone and had been out walking all day so I was exhausted and may not have put in required effort to...More

Well maintained and organized, wonderful exhibitions on display, tons of people around you. It is a must do, an excellent amenity offered to the DC tourist free of charge.

Start with your favorites and be ready to walk a lot. Everything is very interesting and informative. Don't eat at the Air and Space Museum cafe because it was over-crowded and consisted entirely of McDonalds.

Spectacular collection of historic art. Biggest plus was the free audio tour. Simple... pick up the phone-like unit. When you see a piece with a number you punch it into the unit and get an audio explanation about the work of art. Fantastic!

We visited several museums, but definitely not all of them. It is hard to believe that we were able to access so many treasures - art, natural history, the zoo and the remarkable buildings for only our thanks or gratuities. If you don't have much time...More

We visited the space and American history museum. I would go back to Washington just to spend more time there. I loved seeing all the American history and even saw an original pair of ruby slippers from the wizard of oz!!

Any of the smithsonians are worth the visit. Free and most have lockers to store your backpacks and purses.

Our two small grandchildren spent many hours in the American History and Natural History Museums, enjoying the exhibits and hands-on interactive activities. Very crowded, but that's to be expected.

Hi, when we visited we didn't see any of these 'digital interactives' to be honest, so obviously we didn't use any.
