Make a splash in our Nation’s Capital aboard the DC Ducks, 1942 amphibious transport vehicles used to support and carry troops during World War II. Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages!

A nice tour for a family with young children who don't want to walk around and actually see the monuments. My little ones were 3 and 6 at the time, and this was plenty of "sightseeing" for them. Fun addition to watch flights taking off and landing at Reagan National. Duck whistles were annoying- but my kids loved them. 😉... More

My kids really enjoyed this (warning to parents they give them duck calls at end of trip). Our guide was Captain Steve and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. The kids all got a chance to drive the boat and they loved this. Expensive but fun trip. If you're from DC area look into discounts for duck tours. Recommend trying at... More

Unlike the on-off buses, this 90 minute tour visits everywhere, but does not drop off. We went by the major attractions, with plenty of photo opportunities, and then splashed into the Potomac River, puttering along under bridges, ending up near the end of the airport runway, and watched the planes take off. Kids (and adults!) were given the opportunity to... More

We had a great time on this tour. Our captain was funny and knowledgeable about the sites we saw. Everyone got an opportunity to steer the boat and get a picture. It was a perfect day to be on the water with a nice breeze.

This is a super fun and informative ride. Our captain was a history buff and we enjoyed learning more about this great city. If you buy your tickets online you'll save a bit of money. Try to arrive at least 15 minutes before they leave so you can get a seat under the canopy.

We enjoyed our tour. Our captain was great and was pointing out interesting things non-stop. He'd tell us when good photo ops were coming and would slow down to allow for pictures. The water portion of the ride was unique and fun. My only suggestion is to remember that the vehicle is covered but open, so pick your time of... More

The website said there was tickets went to purchase and it error'ed out saying to call, we call they say go to union station to get your tickets, get there no tickets. Only then to experience the worst customer service we have ever seen, being called liars flat out, and the captain of the vehicle was so rude it was... More

We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children. Our captain Salim provided a almost nonstop narrative of facts about Washington & sites that the adults enjoyed. The children enjoyed the boat experience and their picture driving the boat. The only unpleasant part of the trip is the boat exhaust came into the boat which was unpleasant. Either the... More

We have been on Duck tours in other cities and they are lots of fun. This one was not. We had Capt Salim. He spent a few minutes explaining about how his name meant peace which felt like a sermon. It went downhill from there. Throughout the city he would stumble through his delivery losing his train of thought and... More

We needed to kill a few hours before our international flight, so we managed to book a D.C. Ducks tour. We'd thought about it before, but this was the first opportunity we had. It was a hot, but beautiful day. The captain was fantastic and fun. We really enjoyed the whole tour, especially the parts in the Potomac.
