DC is really not a great place for kids under 10. One of the coolest things to do in the city with children is the Ducks. THe drivers are fun and informative, the ride on the river is excellent. Don't go if it's too hot,...More

We had Captain Steve. What a character. Soooo knowledgeable about all aspects of the history of DC, its architecture, as well as the monuments. He stops at the most advantageous spots for photos and previews the most difficult, but best shots. All the while, telling...More

My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. Captain Bill was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour! My highlight was sitting on the Potomac and the planes flying right over us for their landing!!!

Had a great time on a duck tour in Seattle. I thought kicking off our family trip to DC with two preteens on a duck tour would be perfect. Instead, I was thoroughly disappointed. There was no energy, no fun. Not sure if this is...More

I did this tour with a 3 year old, 5 year old, and 4 adults. We aren't really tourists (visiting family who came with) but the tour offers a "buy 1 get 1 free" coupon for DC residents. So we got 6 tickets at the...More

This was great fun and our Captain was very knowledgeable. This tour went past all the major monuments and then onto the water. Gives a great perspective of the town for those that may not be familiar with the locations of the monuments.

Rode the DC ducks with Captain Bill! He was professional, safe and gave great information. We were a little apprehensive riding after the recent accident in MO but my children were assured and we were very pleased with our experience!

Captain Dingo was great. Booked our tour spontaneously and loved it. Ducks are very stable and move slowly in the water... not many boats I have been on can boast the secure feeling we had. On the streets, the Captain drove cautiously and safely. His...More

Go up to the street level and walk outside. The Duck Boat ride is stationed in front of Union Station (front being side facing toward Capitol building).

I have not done the Monuments Tour, but I do know that we viewed the few monuments from an angle that you can't see from a car or by foot. The Ducks tour was by far the most fun and enjoyable tour I think I have ever taken... More
