Make a splash in our Nation’s Capital aboard the DC Ducks, 1942 amphibious transport vehicles used to support and carry troops during World War II. Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages!

We took our 2 grandsons to D.C., and they had a blast on the tour. They were excited to see the monuments, especially the Capitol Building. Our oldest loved driving the duck on the Potomac, and our driver was great with all the children on board. He was very knowledgeable about the sights on the tour.

Took four little kids on the tour - Ages 7, 5, 3 and 1. The two older really enjoyed it - especially when they got to drive the boat on the river. They also loved watching the planes land at National Airport. The two younger kids were a little bored with the whole thing. Everybody did love the quackers though... More

I took this tour by myself during a free day in DC. I bought my ticket at Union Station at a booth right in the middle of the main lobby. Union Station is easy to get to by Metro. Our Captain was Salim. He gave us a great tour. He was very knowledgeable about our history and added a little... More

this was a great tour....small enough you can see where they are pointing out different things. Best part was watching my 10 year old son drive the boat.....don't step on the gas but he did just for a second when everyone started yelling. The whistles were fun and the boat in the water was great. Just a little low for... More

We had booked the DC Ducks tour in advance not expecting the temperatures to be above 100 degrees, which they were. For those who are unfamiliar with Duck Tours, they use an amphibious bus to transition from touring on the roads, to floating on water, and back to the roads. Although the temperatures were not the tour company's fault, it... More

Having previous experience with the DC Ducks, I booked a tour for my family. The Duck tour will show you the important and interesting highlights of DC and combine this with a fresh splash in the Potomac. Sounds great, is great. But even better, like last time our host was Captain Steve. This guy is ri'duck'ulously nice! It is not... More

The Duck tour is entertaining and informative - and corny funny, at least with Capt Kent! My 9-yr-old granddaughter needed a break from the walking-intensive museum circuit (13,000+ steps per day!) so we booked the DC Ducks. She enjoyed the ride around the District and viewing the various monuments and landmarks it includes. She loved the "quacker" element - and... More

The DC Ducks Tour was our first stop on our first day in Washington. There is no better way to get your bearings than on this amphibious vehicle tour. The tour last about 90 minutes and takes you by some of the most popular places in the City. Then you make your way into the Potomac River for a short... More

We loved this tour! So informative, you see so much and it's so much fun! Cap'n Steve was wonderful, loved his commentary! You will see things that you could not see on your own. He pointed out Marine One, and Airforce One, which happened to fly by! You never know what you may see! Riding this WWII amphibious vehicle into... More
