Make a splash in our Nation’s Capital aboard the DC Ducks, 1942 amphibious transport vehicles used to support and carry troops during World War II. Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages!

We are in DC for 2 days and thought what better way to see the city than on land and water! This was a fantastic tour led by a very knowledgeable captain (I can't for the life of me remember his name, Phil maybe). He took us round all the sights of the city and onto the Potomac river near... More

Captain Bill took our boat on a wonderful tour of DC. He had great stories to tell, and pointed out facts about the city I had never heard before. The boat was clean, and the route had very informative sites to see.

Took this tour on sept 6. Location to pick up the ducks is at the metro union station. (Red line metro gets you here if you don't want to walk or to far away). Plenty of restaurants for before or after the tour. We had a stroller and knew from other reviews we couldn't bring on the duck. Left it... More

It was a great tour. We had Captain Grom, who was extremely knowledgeable. I took my two girls, ages 1 and 7. The 1 year old fell asleep, but the 7 year old had a great time. Captain Grom's knowledge was impeccable and he also cracked some funny jokes for the parents. I would definitely do this tour again, even... More

We took our 6 year old daughter in this tour and we all had a great time. The tour was easy to find at Union Station. We bought our tickets the day before which is good because most of the tours were sold out for the day. The tour guide was great. He was very funny but also gave a... More

This was our second trip on the Duck tour (visited 6 years before) as our teenager son wanted to do it again! The land part can be done by bus but the additional part on the Potomac gives some different views including being under the flight path of the local airport. This was what our son was most looking forward... More

This is my third duck tour as the kids have loved the past 2. This was far and away the worst of the 3. The kids found it very boring and were asking for when it would end. The tour guide was knowledgeable but no real effort was made to make it fun for kids. Most notably it is just... More

My mother, daughter and I had a wonderful tour experience! Our tour guide proved to be as entertaining as ever, drawing everyone into the experience. He was extremely informative but made the information entertaining. We have taken multiple duck tours, and they have always been great, but this far exceeded great!

I decided to take the D.C. Ducks tour as a part of my recent "milestone" birthday celebration. I invited my dear cousin to join me and we had a blast! Our Captain was beyond entertaining and informative, and he lead my fellow passengers in a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday to me! Whenever I look at the picture of my... More
