This memorial is gorgeously set up and individually recognizes people by name. It is extremely moving and beautiful. I have been here several times and will definitely go again in the future.

I know many Vietnam vets and this memorial is such a treasured spot to me. It is easy to see with the monuments and worth the short stroll to see.

Off the top of my head, the Smithsonian stop puts you out right in the middle of the national mall, so you'd still have a bit of a walk. Not too far though.
