My fiancée and I went here a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It was enjoyable. A lot of walking so please wear comfortable shoes. We went in August so it was quiet hot I would suggest wearing something light that flows there is no air circulating once you are inside.

To be standing at the reflecting pool and see the Korean Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and the Capitol is really cool.

Always love to see this place! Lots of people but it still is worth seeing. My favorite time to go is early morning or late at night

Great to see up close and personal. It is definitely a lot bigger than I expected and the attention to detail is unreal. I don't think you could ever get sick of going there and seeing the other memorials off in the distance from the stairs. Would recommend to any tourist to check out!

I went in the evening around 11pm, not that many people were there so I got great pics. Easy to get a cab from there too. It was beautiful!

What an experience to be face to face with this renown memorial. Even more breathtaking in person. During the day when we visited Washington DC, it was too hot and humid to go walking around outside and we busied ourselves with inside activities such as museums during the day. We visited the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in the evening after... More

We stood on the exact spot where Dr. King delivered "I Have a Dream" to the nation. It felt as if we were tranformed in time and it was almost as we could hear Dr. King. We giggled when we re-enacted Forrest Gump's run to get to Jenny...we were two kids lost in playtime. Great time

Have been to Washington three times. Only on the third could finally visit the memorial. Could not say that it was not like on the movies (without the invading aliens of course), but you have to be an american to fully grasp it.
