Washington is a privileged city for biking. You can bike from the suburbs in Bethesda to downtown DC by taking the CCT which is paved and surrounded by trees. Plenty of wildlife to see if you are lucky. The trails tends to get quite busy...More

Paved off-road trail is great for walking and talking outside but on a paved trail through the Bethesda suburbs all the way into Washington DC. But walk in the right, and watch out for the bikes speeding along. .
