BCA Guides was born out of a love for skiing, climbing, and traveling in ways that typical mountain and travel enthusiasts do not. Our guides have spent years climbing, learning, skiing and traveling around the globe to bring you these unique adventures. We love taking the back roads, and the style in which we travel defines our experience. Whether it is light and fast in the alpine, or slowing down in town to get to know the people, we believe that every trip should be a unique and fully-encompassing experience that won’t easily be forgotten or replicated.

I did an AIARE 1 course. I know that the primary content is not BCAG’s. So, this is to simply say that the instructors from BCAG were obviously professionals. The content is well understood by them and they deliver it well.

Everything about the course was good. The only thing I would change would be to allow the student to take the lead more to evaluate terrain and make decisions, while th instructor provides them feedback for assessments and decisions made.
