Hiked the ridge trail

This trail is well beaten and marked. The views of the resort and surrounding mountain are fantastic!

I started out around 9 am at the parking lot at the top of DelWebb Drive. Great first view down onto the round valley where Massanutten Resort is with a ring of mountains surrounding it. I headed out to Kaylor's Knob, about a 4 mile round trip along a fairly rocky trail but very do-able. There was cloud cover the... More

Base Camp is a new bar, that just opened in 2015. It is the best place to drink & eat on the mountain! My husband & I kept returning for more! Delicious food & excellent service. Logan was the manager & Wes were there to serve us. Awesome experience 😊👍🏽👍🏽

This is only in regard to tubing not the rest of the resort. We paid $26 a person for a family of four for a two hour block. After an hour, we quit, because it was so ridiculously overcrowded. In one hour, we only got to go down twice. Thus, about 60 minutes of waiting for 60 seconds of tubing. The lines... More

Relaxing skiing on some challenging natural trails. Natural snow and moguls made it trickier and more exciting than expected. Small lines, though lots of kids did slow the lifts. Base camp...all windows under a giant "umbrella" was a great place to break and watch. Great and large variety of beers on tap. Wonderful day.

Massanutten is a nice family mountain. The conditions were good due to the extensive snowmaking and grooming capabilities. The staff is friendly. Equipment and lessons are available. The terrain is mainly beginner and intermediate. Even the black diamonds would be considered intermediate at many areas. The runs are relatively short; the longest trail is only 4,100 ft long. The lifts... More

So much to do all around this whole resort for families. Restaurants-Hideaway lounge-the burgers were way overdone, participated in trivia night and it was fun, server fine; Fairway restaurant-one of the best meals I ever had. We all enjoyed our meals even thought it was quite pricey it was an enjoyable meal. They did stick us in a back room... More

A beautiful place is beautiful Virginia. We stayed inn Regal Estates, gated community. Phenomenal accommodations! Pristeen decor...the spa tub even had colored lights! Everything you could possibly want or need...exceptional.

If you have ever visited the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, you couldn't miss Massanutten Mountain. It's like being in Washington, D.C., and not seeing the Washington Monument. Or visiting New York City and missing the Statue of Liberty. Massanutten is a 50-mile-long, six-mile-wide mountain range of ancient sandstone contained within the broad valley of the Shenandoah River. It bisects the... More

The resort has so much to offer both for children & adults. The scenery is breath taking. A family can rent a hotel room, time share, private homes, or condo. Again variety on the resort is fantastic. We stayed for 5 days & had a family reunion.
