Went to the Belcourt for the first time after the rennovation and I must confess, I was very disappointed. It's just another theater now. I agree the restrooms needed updating but I would rather have seen the character of the old interior retained rather than the bleak, souless, slightly Stalinist architectural look it has now. I go for the movies,... More

Saw a Ron Howard documentary on The Beatles with a special 30 minutes presentation of the Beatles 1966 concert at Shea Stadium. This was such a pleasant evening event. I am excited to return for another film. Had a large container of popcorn, a soda, and a beer at a very reasonable "theater" price.

I was impressed by the history of this theater (original to 1925) and the multi-million renovation that has brought it up to date. I was disappointed at the parking and that the show we were sold had zero seats (we were about 10 minutes late into the film because of crazy interstate traffic coming up from Murfreesboro). But the staff... More

Went with a group of girlfriend to see a "chick flick"...only theater in Nashville that was playing the movie. I'd been to Belcourt Theater years ago to see a few independent movies, and was impressed with the completion of the renovations at the theater. Modern looking lobby and great seating in the theater. Wonderful concessions including an extensive bar selection.... More

Have been here twice since moving to Nashville. It's just reopened after a refurb and it's a great space. No more dingy dirty cinema complexes for me. Staff are lovely, cinema and toilets are clean and if you get membership your parking is free. Plus you get a discount at the kiosk. Whats not to like!!

The new renovations are AMAZING! We recently attended a movie there. The seats are comfortable. Love the expanded bathrooms. Nice food counter with a lot of food and drink options (draft beer!). Digital screens for information throughout. Well done!

It is beautiful, bigger, and safer (got a bit beyond shabby last year). Same indie, oldie, and non-blockbuster movies but now comfortable and nicer to the lookers. Nothing better than sitting in the 1921 theater, watching an old or forgotten movie, and eating their good popcorn with some fancy drink. Same great staff and attitude. Bless all those that make... Lucky to find this theater in the charming area called Hillsboro Village...all staff friendly and knowledgeable about the building...nice as the Naro Cinema in Norfolk Va. Hope to return several more times before leaving...lots of interesting restaurants and shops nearby. Delicious popcorn too!!

The Belcourt offers the best variety of films in Nashville. They play classic films almost every week along with independent and foreign films in current release. They also have Saturday morning matinees of family films at reduced prices. We bought a membership at the Belcourt and it offered terrific perks - reduced ticket prices and concessions, along with a free... More

The Belcourt is a piece of Nashville/Film history. Great indie films. Great staff that is very energetic and helpful. The concession stand has some awesome snacks and a very good collection of craft beers. They often have special events there. I've also taken my daughter to the Saturday morning kids events. The Belcourt is a "must" while in Nashville!
