Be sure to go into the small museum and check out all of the Native American history. The attendant was very informative and kind. We really enjoyed the hike up the mountain. The scenery was beautiful.

We made the hike up Bear Butte on a cool, sunny, late March day and it was just about perfect. Being we went on a weekday, we only encountered a few people on the trail - well, until two school buses let loose a couple...More
