We were looking for a place for the night in our RV on the way through the Columbia River Gorge. After finding several State Parks closed for the season it was nice to find this one open late into the fall. We were one of...More

This may be the worst campground I've ever stayed at. The site was filthy - cigarette butts and dog kibble and gum wrappers everywhere. The guy next door had a trailer so long he detached and had parked his truck on our tent pad, didn't...More

We happened upon this campsite quite by accident, and it turned out to be one of our favorites in our week long road trip! We camped under the stars by the river in a lovely grassy “primitive camping” area - it was mid week and...More

This park was a pleasant surprise. We arrived late and left early but the sites we were in were nice and under the trees. The Deschutes river provides a nice view. Can't beat the reasonable rates either.

I found this campground to be so peaceful and spacious compared to other campgrounds in the gorge. My site was beautiful with a nice view on to the river. There were so many birds singing. I watched a fledgling turkey vulture learn how to fly....More

I really like the high desert and the wide open space. I loved the terrain and views up and down the river valley from the trails in this park. The park is narrow essentially both sides of the Deschutes river. There is a lovely campground...More

Stumbled upon this place while on a motorcycle ride. What a gem! Clean park, nice restrooms and nice campsites. Picnic tables and fire pits at each campsite. Plenty of nice grassy tent campsites. Plenty of shade too. Water was not too far away. Ranger and...More
