This is a beautiful beach with a calm ocean. There were some rocks on the beach and lots of trees behind the beach. There was a massive boulder on the ocean. All its trees had no leaves. People were enjoying with their kayaks in the...More

Such a picturesque spot! The last time I visited, I saw a whale. First time ever. This time there were no whales but the waves, cliffs, and sunset were incredible. Take the time to walk around and soak in everything about this place.

This is a nice park to enjoy a picnic lunch. There are tables under shaded trees that over look the water and you can stop and see the Cape Arago Lighthouse. We did not go to the lighthouse only looked at it from a distance.

Visited during an Oregon camping trip along the coast & Crater. On the coast, we camped at Harris Beach, Humbug, and here and this was our favorite campground. Fairly quiet, close to a nice beach area, large campsite, some foliage between sites for privacy, new...More

This park is really crowded and the spaces are really tight one next to the other, it’s NOT on the beach and the closest beach to the park is really bad you can’t even go in. I don’t really recommend this park.

Oregon State Parks are very difficult to get into during the summer months, especially along the Oregon Coast. This is a well kept and very crowded state park. Showers/bathrooms need to be upgraded; they are very old and worn down. Park fee includes free entrance...More

This Oregon state park was well staffed with rangers and awesome programs for all ages. We absolutely loved the banana slug class, the coastal walk and the tide pool tour. The camp hosts were friendly and readily available. The showers were free and hot. Sunset...More

As there is no public access to Cape Arago Lighthouse, you can get shots of it from the lookout in the Sunset Bay Sate Park. Again this coast line is so rugged but beautiful in its own right. Being free and plenty of parking you...More

All Oregon State Park deluxe and rustic yurts/cabins are said to have a heater per their website. It’s been my experience that there is one (sometimes two) but can not speak to this park specifically. Hope you go!
